Come on Greg. It's time to get serious. Send heavily ARMED national guard troops to the border with orders to shoot all males of fighting age. Fly helicopters over the border with loud speakers making it clear what will happen if they cross over. I know it sounds heartless, but we are clearly at war and we're not acting like it.

Unfortunately, you're 100% correct. In fact, the media would scream to the high heavens about the whole idea. That being said, we can't let this continue and with our own federal government not only refusing to finish the wall but welding the doors open, it seems like there is no other way to solve the problem than to admit that we're at war and act accordingly. Yea, he declared an emergency, but he will slooooooooww roll any response. Probably have to get NG diversity training in place first, then cherry pick any NG members to stand post on the border, those which fully completed the months long diversity training.
I don't know how sincere and/or motivated Abbott truly is, but I can say I fully expect that he's dealing with much the same situation that President Trump dealt with, which is to say an entrenched, recalcitrant bureaucracy dedicated to opposing literally any policy that doesn't expand and advance the globalist agenda. That any truly patriotic, conservative official gets anything done well in the face of such insidious opposition is amazing to me.
So true, but a governor has to stand up like Trump did. We seem to have forgotten that this is a republic of sovereign states. I'd say in this case, state's rights come before any kind of federal supremacy crap. It's our border here in Texas, and we want it to stop and then go about the business of removing the ones that are already here. It's only a matter of time before New York is going to start sending them to back to us and other red states. We need to be ready to deport every last one of them when that happens.

My opinion, I think the bussing migrants to blue states was the first optic, done in order for those democrat run cities and their sanctuary cities to wake up and see that this was not a good option. Crime up and immigrants being taken care of better than the struggling American people. Secondly I think he did it now because people are a little more focused on the border and influx of huge masses of people. People are going to pay more attention to what the federal government is going to do with this emergency invasion declaration. I think you have to start taking away peoples comfort and safety sometimes to wake them up to reality.
