I personally choose not to participate by unplugging the wifi and everything attached to it for an hour. I will also be trying the foil faraday cage for my phone just to see if it works.
Taking my disabled cousin to court so she can evict the squatter in her house because she didn't realize when she let this man who is the brother of her daughter's friends that in Illinois anybody you allow to live in your house for two weeks then has tenant's rights. She lives on disability in a house she fortunately paid for before her disability happened and this dickhead won't get out of her house, calls the health department on her (which inspection she passed), eats her food, and harasses her in her own house. She called the police on him at one point and their response? "He has tenant rights. You'll have to formally evict him." Cost of filing an eviction: $320.00. Cost of service of process: $83.00. Her monthly income from disability: $1000. She's learned her lesson.
The funny thing is that her court time is right when the EAS/EBS is happening. Cell phones have to be turned off in the court room anyway. I'm just leaving mine in the car and waiting for her in front of the courthouse until she's done. No need for me to be inside the courthouse walking past the free NARCAN dispenser to watch the shitshow that is "justice" system in Illinois.
Seriously? That is the law? I am finding myself shocked, and after the last few years, I thought I was shock proof. No wonder some wit said no good deed goes unpunished. Good luck.
Well, she DID have good luck. Guy has to be out in two weeks. If he doesn't go, then she pays the Sheriff to come throw him out. And of course she has to pay to get locks changed, just in case. Clown world, but a win for now.
Wrapping my phone in tin foil, tossing it in the microwave, hitting the popcorn button, taking off my pants and running down the hall screaming "the aliens made me do it". So in other words, just another normal Wednesday.
Stacking firewood, putting heat tape on my roof to combat ice dams, playing my phone full volume, laughing and not understanding why everyone is freaking out about an EAS test. I feel everyone is so ready for sh!t to go down that they are grasping at anything happening in the future, ingesting the propaganda, and going full tilt. Do people really think they are going to send out a frequency over 5G to turn people into Zombies? Sorry, but with all due respect, go about your business, prepare for winter as well as what we believe is coming. Tune out the hype, this is 5d warfare. Kind regards
I'll be teaching a class. I'm looking forward to seeing every single clueless student (and my assistant) losing their minds when the phones all go off together. I think a lot of people still have no idea this is even scheduled or what it means. Personally, I'm not expecting anything to come of it because these types of hyped-up events never seem to turn out like people say. But we shall see.
Working my balls off on the last hot day of 2023 and not paying attention to the clock. Its gonna be 88 here today and by Saturday the highs are in the upper 40s with lows in the 30s.
I'm going down to the mill yard and will be milling a lon on the Woodmizer. No puns intended, thats probably what I'll be doing. No cell reception down there.
On second thought, I'll be sure to be up at the top of the hill to get the EAS, FWIW.
Removing all of the duplicate posts regarding the EAS test. 😂🤣😂
😹
I plan to wrap myself in aluminum foil, but that doesn’t make me a conspiracy theorist.
I'm doing that and carrying an opened blue umbrella...
LMAO. That is the best funny of the week.
Haha! I read that so fast that I thought you said a 'crispy' theorist. Kek.
I am doing coconut husks and crushed honey-dew rinds.
Watching my phone to see what fireworks happen tomorrow!! After today, I’ve got pretty high hopes!

Might make a faraday cage big enough for two people and I'll be right over! Kek
Likely be laying on the couch with a cool buzz and some lemonade… making memes.
Jealous.... I'll be working with my tunes on headphones. Wonder how loud it's going to be. I think I'll set a warning alarm.
About the time they announce Trump as speaker of the House.

Finding good material to post on GAW or commenting on good posts posted here.
Waiting for the Storm
Probably in class. Gotta get those expensive pieces of paper somehow.
I'll probably be digging potatoes or weed wacking.
So anything happened?
