I think the new speaker will be a Republican. I doubt it will be Trump. I think it will be someone that did not vote to remove McCarthy. Sends one of those that voted for to remove him would be the wrong move at this point in time, and that is not to say someone that voted to remove him wouldn't be a better speaker and qualified for the job.
