Our government doesn't give us our rights. The constitution lays out protections of our natural rights.
Over the last 100 years, and maybe longer. The constitution has been trampled underfoot. People seem to love Abraham Lincoln and the winning of the war of northern aggression. I actually agree with the ideology poised by the south (not all aspects mind you). We are a nation that since the end of the civil war places power upon the federal government while diminishing the power of the states. Which is exactly why the south fought. Yes, they wanted slavery, but that would have died out in a few short years regardless.

Agreed.. and Great point.. my concern is that you wouldn’t have had a means of sharing it with those of us seeing it without the internet…
But you need somewhat comparable communications capabilities in order to actually organize.
Imagine, if you will, a world where every district is a blue light district. Where your internet access can be immediately restricted and, with it, your ability to place calls because that would likely come at some point after.
Imagine being isolated and alone, with only your local neighborhoods of mixed ideologies, many of which are your enemies or foreign military aged males, and all of your discussions with them monitored for keywords with red flags for many behaviors they deem suspicious.
One night, after you said "My dog had to go pee", the camera decided you said "I want to kill the government" and your neighbors, not all of which are your friend, rat you out and corroborate it, you are labeled a Nazi and no one comes to your defense. You're sleeping, and suddenly you hear a window shimmied open as the latches break, and before you can reach for the gun under your pillow, a dart hits your neck through the gap left from the open window.
You wake up in a dark room with your hands cuffed, a blackout sack over your head, and a murmur of voices unseen proclaiming you guilty of crimes you didn't commit.

The problem they have right now is that half the country at least will not take their bullshit anymore.
The biggest fear they have is population revolving against them.
The situation you described would lead to a massive revolt which is what they cannot have.
I went down a fun grimdark storyline, but when they have control of travel, lines of communication and introduce further monitoring on the basis of "security", revolt would require people to escape, other people to believe them and more people to act.
Right now, I choose to be optimistic that this is a step towards a reversal of Obama's treasonous act of relinquishing ownership of our creation.

An amendment is mandatory for the creation of each and every one. How do I know that? Article 1 Section 8: “the powers of the federal government are enumerated; it can only operate in certain cases; it has legislative powers on defined and limited objects, beyond which it cannot extend its jurisdiction.”
There are NO enumerated powers that allow them to create anything without an amendment. They've bent, twisted, mangled, and shredded that which contains them but the supreme law of the land still stands. It needs to be enforced and punishment meted out for those who continue to crap on our country's law.

There is no such thing as 2nd amendment rights, nor constitutional rights. There are only rights, and the only source of Rights is our Creator. By that simple fact, no government of this earth has any legitimate authority or power over any of our rights. hence inalienable. (Incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred to another; not alienable).

The government has ignored the 2nd amendment for decades. Any and every law restricting ownership or carry is an infringement on our right to bear arms. The purpose of the 2nd amendment is to prohibit government.
