Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Interesting how X is buzzing about the firmament. The larger point is that many people are waking up to the lies they have been told over the years.
Yeah. I donβt write off any crazy conspiracy theory anymore.
I am now anti vaccine.
I think the Daily Mail should be banned from GAW as a linked reference or a source of news. That website is nothing more than bogus garbage crap.
I've been listening to the Shawn Ryan show. Learning a lot of great info. He just has on Nick Bryant who did some investigative journalism on Epstein. Bryant posted Epsteins black book on gawker a while ago. I did some digging and found it. Couldn't remember if this was newsworthy back then or not.

PPshow looks like it was banned on Reddit. Anyone aware of a backup?
They setup ppshow on lemmy. https://lemmy.world/c/theppshow
The Lemmy is pretty inactive right now, might pickup. Most posters have gone back to r/BBBY for now.
Can anyone direct me to an immediate source for hydroxychloroquine?
So did you find a source? I wouldn't mind ordering some either, just to have on hand for emergencies.
Also, 2+ years ago I once used Push Health , it was maybe $65 to join and then they instantly emailed me a prescription for ivermectin that i could pick up locally. But it was astoundingly expensive at the local Rite Aid.
I found recommendations to get a prescription from my doctor which is not going to happen. After talking to another doctor I found another protocol which involves 20 mg of melatonin and 1 g of vitamin c every 2 hours. That has me now only panting for air after exertion as opposed to gasping. I welcome the improvement. I've added the zinc and quercetin to the regimen today.
glad to hear it.
Ask your doctor mine just prescribed it.
Tell your doctor you are going on vacation to Africa and are concerned about catching malaria.
He should give you a prescription.
That might not work, I think they often prescribe doxycycline for malaria.
Never tried it, I've read here it works, people take it before they go.

Rare late night check in from me.
Scrolling the hot posts, seems like things are heating up re: The Media, Enemy of The People.
Good to see.

my new church is so heckin based. i didn't think i would find a good one in my area. it's also my first church; i've never even been baptized. one in a million chance of finding it, too.
Awesome. π
Iβm so happy to hear you found at home. Get involved in the womenβs and menβs Bible studies. This is where you will find real people that will pray for you and help you in time of need. God bless you. Have a great day.
Haha, not one in a million. Totally God.

Working on a project to combine anons, churches, ministries and politics and ideas that seek to build up community. Keep building relationship within it brother. Truly happy to hear this for you. Love you
That's wonderful news! I'm so happy for your recent baptism. God is so good!
I'm still looking for the right one. People all around me are awake, yet the churches all around me still tip toe around truth. I know the Lord will send me to the right church eventually. I'll keep looking.
I opened my own office recently. Today I had two clients and tomorrow I do, too! I'm grateful to God that I have frens that encourage me to never give up. Thank you. Have a beautiful Thanksgiving.
Tha's exciting! Congratulations on having faith and stepping out to be your own boss. Best of luck with your new company. Happy Thanksgiving!
Now you need to film a montage of you doing work related tasks set to "Taking Care of Business"
Congratulations!!! May God bless your endeavor tremendously.
Thank you! The scamdemic kicked me into action for living my passion- especially since I wasn't eligible for "real" jobs due to clot shot mandates. I thank God each day for this opportunity π π
I think I have figured out the reason to the light-headedness I've experienced while at work during the day. I've been going for a zero carbs for breakfast and lunch diet with some good success. I'm not very strictly sticking to it, but at least a bit has helped me lose weight over the past year. (Although admittedly I have gained about 4-5 pounds back over the past month.) I can't go full keto and I won't even try. But this morning I had a pretty badass tandoori chicken burger sandwich for breakfast I'd bought yesterday at the grocery store's deli section and I'm not feeling any light-headedness by standing from a crouch.
https://bodypass.net/workouts/why-lifting-keto-dizzy/
I know there are a lot of zero carb folks on here. Any recommendations on minimizing this dizzy effect?
Just make sure it's related to your diet. I have also experienced dizziness / weird headedness on very low carb. But just fyi, there are crystals in our ears and if they get out of whack, they can cause a similar sensation. It's an easy fix, to get them back into place. An audiologist can test you to see if that is what's causing the problem and then fix it rather easily. But it is probably the low carb thing. Good to be aware, anyway.
Your body is accustomed to getting its energy from carbs. When you reduce them drastically, it has to get energy from fats and proteins. Generally, it takes around three weeks to adjust. If you "cheat" by eating carbs, then you'll start from scratch again. I've seen it suggested that you can help the process by drinking diluted (clean) sea water. That ensures that you get the necessary minerals. I haven't tried it but I think it would be better to add it to your cooking pot.
I take magnesium, zinc, K2, etc.
What helped me with that feeling, is a pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt on the tongue followed by a glass of water.
Interesting. I hadn't heard of that. Thanks for that.
It really works.... I've since started using Celtic sea salt... its expensive for salt but cheap for supplements ;)
Celtic. I'll look for it. Thanks.
Just came to say this. When fasting, one should do this as well.
Thanks fren for this link. Definitely explains what is happening to me as well. I am not zero carbs but definitely have cut down on carbs for a while now, and looks like this is a side effect in the intial adjustment phase. Hmm.
Added: And. for me drinking electrolytes (when I was really dizzy), eating some salty chips and adding a punch of pink salt to water has helped.
I recently bought some Himalayan pink salt that comes in a grinder. My wife and daughter enjoy the grinding. I read on this forum that white salt is not good, but I have no idea why not. Nevertheless, I did buy the pink salt and it's fun to grind, at the very least.
As a Eurofag I buy Zechstien Sea Salt with iodine, lovely!
Best salt, hands down.
https://redmond.life/pages/mine-to-table
I read a while ago (so I've forgotten) why exactly it's bad, but it had to do with a lot of junk being added back in. Same with pepper. If I didn't know better, I'd almost think someone was out to get us ....
The Morton's salt is complete purified which sounds good but what's taken out are the good minerals. the pink and other colored salts are colored by the minerals we need plus they taste better.
yikes. failing orthostatics is not good- i'd take a sitting then standing blood pressure and make sure there's not something more serious going on. if a drop in BP is just a 'normal thing for keto' then F that!
bless you guys, please take care.
we have a big group of keto fanatics here so I do not bother arguing it
I will say this. Weight is an indicator of potential health issues and a possible cause of health issues but not as important a metric as most modern societies make it out to be.
And two, the longest living groups of people (who also have average lower bmis) eat carbs as cultural and ethnic staples
Exactly! Low carb is a short term solution.
can't argue with a good diet and exercise.
I just wish they'd see that flirting with a loss of consciousness is an enormous, huge, fat red flag. aargh.
