I argue with dispensationalists a lot, I've never seen one turn from it's errors.
It is strong like the dependency on "the system".
People have a hard time giving up the system, becoming unplugged.
Ive been unplugged from dispensationalism for a long time, but I'm just lately understanding the warfare necessary to fight it.
You really should spend more of your energy arguing about the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, rather than non essential, eschatological doctrines.
Changing salvation to a future event is a pretty big deal. My big thing with it is it robs the church of the present spiritual reality, changing spiritual things into physical things, so that the spiritual reality can't be recieved.
In short it makes weak Christians that just want to be taken out of the world, it makes Christians who have given up on humanity.
It's essential stuff to me, all that really matters.

The promise to be spared from the hour of testing that comes upon the unbelieving world does not make Christians weak. It gives them hope and confidence in the promise of Christ and His Word. Fulfilling the great commission until the last elect of the church believes before removal (before the hour of testing) is not giving up on humanity.
“Essentials” are already defined as essential to salvation. That means you don’t get to redefine terms and their meanings.

Chapter 13 is a description of Babylon.
The carnal man is being worked out of the church through judgment throughout the book.

Early Church Fathers like Justin Martyr (2nd century) and Irenaeus (2nd century) acknowledged distinctions between God’s dealings with Israel and the Church in their writings. They recognized that God had specific plans for both groups.
The followers of Jesus Christ don't follow the early church fathers.
Dispensationalism makes it's doctrine into what the church should be following, then they fight to keep their system king.............just like the OP says.

Well if the TV doesn't do it, there are certainly a lot of educators at all levels willing to tell their students what to be angry about.
We need to work on creating ways to help people off the systems that be.
My personal dream has always been about opening a trade school for the industry if the family business I grew up in. When I hit college age I was shocked there was no options for educating myself for the industry through any means but trial and error. As things progress, the more important it seems.
Although a trade school won’t do anyone any good at all if things keep getting worse… But assuming the white hats are doing their part, I have to assume much of our duty is to make things we know the world will need.
I think it's the hopelessly dependent on the system part that is our problem. The powers that be are purposely breaking out society and the traditional support mechanisms people had. Break the family, break the Church, pit neighbor against neighbor to take out community, sell confused and bullied kids they're the wrong gender and isolate them from everything but other people that believe and embrace that. All of that strengthens the government.
Wait till 2024. We’re at the part of the Book of Revelations says “house divided”. The “trump is a dictator” and his supporters are authoritarians is making the rounds. This is the final battle.
Not sure if they are dependent on it or that it's mainly focused on their party, which activates their ego. They then become defensive because it's a part of their identity. So when accusations come at their party members, they take it personally.
