Heard one Dr say high cholesterol isn’t the culprit. He said cholesterol is high to protect damaged arteries from a crappy diet.

Every time you see a fire you see firemen? Get rid of the firemen!

Yep, and eventually they will push for low cholesterol diets for babies since it is required in high amounts for brain development. To be honest I've never even checked the nutrition in baby formula, it may already be happening. We know the soy is turning baby boys into future weak men.

Some have soy (for cow milk allergies) and they're also full of seed oil as the fat. Here's an example.

My son had to drink soy formula because he couldn't drink regular formula and when it was time to take him off formula, he couldn't drink milk. And for the record he isn't a weak man. He's tall, healthy, fit, use to train in MMA, trains in jiu jitsu and can now drink milk in moderation without issues.

Was he breast fed before switching to formula?

Growing brains do best on actual breast milk.

Babies are ready for solid food once they start biting the nipples and that's nature's way of ensuring that happens.

No, I decided not to breast feed, as after each of my children I got sick with strep throat & fever, so thought it was best not to breast feed because I would have to take medication and someone else (husband or my mom) would have to take care of the babies for a few days, that was so hard for me, to not be able to hold my babies. I was afraid that any meds I took would go to the babies through breast milk and didn't want the babies to get sick. It's crazy how I would get sick after giving birth but was totally fine before giving birth.

Edit: And he is pretty smart (I know I'm biased, lol), has multiple degrees (not from big universities, no brainwashing), he was always a wiz at math since before he started school. He's got a good head on his shoulders thank goodness.

I stopped taking statins for that reason. It's the only medication I have been prescribed. Historically my good/bad cholesterol is best controlled with a simple carb (sugar/flour etc.) diet. Not sure about the carnivore diet people are touting now. I do better with complex carb/protein.

Every lie requires about 1000 hours to uncover the truth.

The whole point is that you know your own body, should listen to it and respond in kind. It's a reciprocal relationship. Too many of us so easily trust everyone else than ourselves when it comes to diet, nutrition and exercise.

Yes and no. I don't think it's a bad idea to get a lot of information about what works and doesn't for other people. I know a lot of people who have a problem with dairy but that just doesn't seem to be a problem for me.

I have reservations about the carnivore diet, partly because it looks boring AF eating nothing but meat and eggs all the time and because the adherents (Carnies) as about as annoyingly cultish as Crossfitters and the Fasters.

And yes not everyone thrives on the same diets, I know of bodybuilders who got big on high carb diets and some on low fat diets even and not a single one who got there by fasting but the one thing that's universal is getting at minimum 0.8g of protein per 1lb of bodyweight. There was one who got ripped on carnivore but ultimately had to put some carbs back into his diet as he got to a point where he just couldn't progress and perform well on just protein and fat alone.

Personally my diet is high protein and high in sat fat with moderate carbs (about 50% of "normal"), sugar intake is about half of what is recommended and importantly trying to keep fiber fairly high as low-fiber is one of the root of many problems in the western diet. So many issues can be addressed by raising your protein and fiber intakes. One thing I noticed by minimizing my consumption of seed oils is that I went this entire year not getting sunburned once despite not using sunscreen, it's theorized that polyunsaturated oils building up in the skin are the cause as they oxidize the most easily under UV light.

One thing I noticed by minimizing my consumption of seed oils is that I went this entire year not getting sunburned once despite not using sunscreen

This year I changed my diet, lost almost 50 pounds, and part of that is that I don't eat anything seed oil, fried or processed, and if I must use oil I only use avocado oil.

I enjoy being (very, very) tan and have been every summer for my whole adult life (I'm almost 57). I've NEVER in my life ever used sunscreen; I avoid it like the plague. Anyway, this summer I got fairly tan, but once I reached a certain level I couldn't get any darker for some reason, despite being shirtless out in the sun for a couple hours every day.

I had read about the theory of seed oils interfering with the bodies natural melanin production, and that being the cause of sunburns and skin cancer, so I've been curious if that's why I wasn't able to get as dark tan, compared to previous summers.

Fascinating theory. Sunscreens themselves are also toxic and carcinogenic, hence the increase in skin cancer (sounds like seed oils play a role too) as more and more people use sunscreen daily.

I deep fry stuff very often, mostly in olive oil. Frying itself is not the issue it's the choice of oils.

For me high fiber high protein low simple carbs is the key. Interesting about seed oils. I will pay more attention to this. I have tried to cut down on them anyway.

Was it Dr Berry? Or Dr Cyres? Or Dr Berg? Or, Dr Boz? Or............There are a lot of Drs online that are helping thousands change their lives by not only tell them what they should eat and what they should avoid and WHY. They explain in detail what the test results mean, what numbers are good/what numbers are not, etc. I am happy you posted this! It needs to be heard by the masses so they could make better choice in their daily diet. (Diet not as losing weight then, go back to standard American diet, but what should and should not be eaten for the rest of your life to be healthy).

The more we learn, the healthier we become. Thank you, God for your full body armor and the gift of sight.

Can’t remember which. I’ve seen so many videos now. Dr Chaffee is one of my favorites because he is speaking out about the food industry, the eat bugs, own nothing and be happy, etc.

My LDL went from normal to over 300 on carnivore. Dr wanted me to retest because he’d never seen anyone have LDL change that much over a few months. Second time it was over 400. Gonna add some carbs back and retest. Should go back to normal.

I told him about the “lean mass hyper responder” study where people on a low carb diet, average age 53, and healthy and lean had 0 arterial plaque after a year and LDL over 200.

One of the Drs in the experiment lowered his LDL back to “normal” by eating 12 Oreos a day for a week!

The theory is lean, fit people on low carb need ldl than others.

Not saying carnivore is the best diet but my hypothyroid is gone and I can see my abs again!

That is great! Yes, Dr. Chaffee is great too. There are many that are speaking out about S.A.D. and how it keeps people unhealthy and on medicines that keeps people going to the Dr, a vicious circle.

High LDL is a sign that the body is trying to repair damage somewhere so yes directly attacking the LDL with statins is akin to addressing a house fire by shooting the firefighters as they arrive. If you want your body to produce less LDL you need to find and address the problem it's trying to fight but that doesn't make Big pHarma money.

I fired my husband's neurologist because he put him on statins(I never let him start them, already knew they were bad) when his lipids were in the low to normal range, all of them. I went to an alternative doctor. He told me with my husband's low levels of lipids it was actually dangerous to have him on statins.😡🤬

Statins WILL destroy your liver eventually if you take them long enough. It's a question of when, not if. That's what they're looking for with the constant blood tests when you're on statins.

I see the problem. But anyone have any lines of research of what to do about blood clots if not statins? I’d love to find better answers

Extreme clotting issues run in my family, and while I’m skeptical of the drug, the clot issues happened to them long before being put in statins.

WORTH READING:

WHY DO YOU HAVE HEART BLOCKAGE?

I have familial high cholesterol. Its multi-generational. Docs put each of us on statins (parents, older siblings, self). Over time, parents & siblings developed heart issues and adult onset diabetes, later some dementia. I didn't know at the time that statins cause these things. They didn't either. The claims that high cholesterol causes heart attacks is now proven false. Cholesterol actually repairs the lining of the blood vessels and arteries and feeds the brain. You make exactly how much you need!

The REAL CAUSE of heart attacks is due to a clogged, narrowed artery formed by calcified plaque that becomes rough and snags the slick, globby cholesterol that should easily slip through. The inside of your arteries should be flexible and slippery, not like the inside of a cave dripping with stalactites!

Unabsorbed calcium due to a magnesium deficiency is the cause of calcified plaque. Let me explain...

I've been taking magnesium for 20+ years. It breaks down the calcium molecule and allows the body to use it for hair, teeth, bones. Four or 5 years ago, I began adding Vit. K2 to my nightly regimen.

Looking at food labels, you see that everything is calcium fortified.

If you are magnesium deficient (most are) you will be unable to dissolve the calcium molecule properly from all the foods you ingest and it will just float around in your blood vessels and capillaries with too big of a molecule to permeate through, slowly building up calcified plaque like what you get inside your water pipes in a home with high dissolved minerals.

Magnesium will prevent this. Vit K2 will prevent this. Take them both. You will not build up calcified plaque, but if you already have it, it will slowly remove it.

I am late 60's and just had my cardiac calcium score done. I had ZERO calcium in my heart and abdominal arteries! Doctor was baffled! I told her I was no longer taking the statins as I'd learned the connection to adult onset diabetes, dementia and liver problems that statins cause. (No thanks to her.) I told her my lack of calcified plaque was due to the years of Magnesium and Vit K2.

These problems developed in all my family members who took statins but did not take the magnesium and K2. The doctor could not argue with my facts and took it like a champ.

NOTE: If you have Spike Protein clots or regular blood-based clots, a short regimen of Nattokinase and Serrapeptase (two over-the-counter digestive enzymes) will dissolve them, and fast! Go on to Webmd.com and read the testimonials from people taking these two supplements and see what miracles they are doing in the realm of clot busting!
