And to think that we fought a Revolutionary War over a tax on tea. 😥
FDR was a goddamn communist
You spelled jew wrong.
Yes, he was.
He got 4 terms, in my book, that’s a 16 year plan…
Well, they have been planning this 💩 for a long, long, long time. Now they intend to kill us out right.
It was more than just that, tax on tea was just one of a good many straws that broke the camel's back.
You would have thought that our forebears would have smacked some sense into their children and made them hate taxes from birth.
u/What-Me-Worry you & Wtf_socialismreally may like this podcast The American Revolution by Michael Troy. American Revolution Podcast

... a one penny tax.
The government had no right to tax us.
the sheeple have been conditioned to believe that it would only be a small amount... over and over again... another small amount.... sheep have volunteered themselves into financial bondage all whilst thinking that the gubmint worked for them.
Frog, pot, slow boil.
It's getting pretty fucking hot now.
The waters all gone already
Yup. Once you open those doors, they're hard to close. Illinois has had a "temporary" tollway since 1953.
Johnstown Flood tax on liquor rebuilt Johnstown by the 40s iirc and its still here
The beginning of the Ponzi scheme literally stealing from the American people.
If it stayed at the 1 or 3% level that may not have been so bad, but as we know once the evil doers get their claws in things go up every year or every other year, no matter what.
The American people have to deal with sliding percentages, meanwhile simple solutions to problems like locking Congressional wages to a certain percentage of GDP (to incentivize growth of the country vs destruction of the country) are considered too unfair.
That would be very nice, but not likely. Too bad they don't have America's interest in their hearts (only their interest).
Line go up! Is good.
All Ponzi schemes have to keep chasing additional revenues to keep up with the increasing pay-outs.
Social Security now takes 12.4% out of everyone’s income up to the first $168,600 of earnings (which goes up every year). It’s 12.4% because YOU have to pay 6.2% from your paycheck while your employer has to pay an additional, matching 6.2% for the privilege of employing you, the government’s wage slave.
We should have started a revolution on this bullshit alone.
Notice they started it when and exactly when america was the wealthiest nation on earth. Convenience breeds compliance
And if you're an independent contractor, you pay both sides.
Retarded that we agreed to that.
And your great grandchildren will pay for your mistakes now. Especially that nasty debt...
Then they just steal it. Think of all the people that died and never collected. There should be so much money in that fund now, but where is it?
In the 4 story mansion your representative lives in
Good thing none of us have an employer.
all smoke and mirrors...inflation has cost us more of our hard earned dollars than any tax. I pray the theft of we the people stops soon
I always wondered why they need to keep increasinng the percentage of a tax. Seems if 3% was good enough for then, its good enough for now. Same for all taxes.
The Fed prints the Money and Nixon took us off the Gold Standard. value of money is not fixed to price of gold but can "float" and it always floats up.
JUST SO YA KNOW...this is a fake photo. The Font wasn't even designed back then. That Font is a newer designed font....FAKE IMAGE. People are so gullible
Well done, anon. How did you figure this out? FDR was still a communist or sympathetic towards them.
I do web design and know fonts, that is not a print font from back in the day. Print companies back then generally had a few fonts in stock, not like we do today. All print fonts back then were made of METAL and stamped. They didn't have many because it was too costly. Just paying attention basically.
Thank you for your input! 👍
This guy autisms!
Internal Revenue Code- general terms and definitions
26 USC 7701(a)
(9) United States
The term “United States” when used in a geographical sense includes only the States and the District of Columbia.
(10) State
The term “State” shall be construed to include the District of Columbia, where such construction is necessary to carry out provisions of this title.
COMPARE WITH
Agriculture Code
7 U.S. Code § 349 - “State” defined
The term “State” means the States of the Union, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
Questions--
How does the Internal Revenue Code have jurisdiction in States of the Union?
Research 8 USC Immigration and Nationality. Does it apply to States of the Union? How does anyone become a citizen of the United States?
Even those who are naturalized are admitted under the laws of the United States as citizens of the United States of America:
8 U.S. Code § 1449 - Certificate of naturalization; contents A person admitted to citizenship in conformity with the provisions of this subchapter shall be entitled upon such admission to receive from the Attorney General a certificate of naturalization, which shall contain substantially the following information: Number of application for naturalization; number of certificate of naturalization; date of naturalization; name, signature, place of residence, autographed photograph, and personal description of the naturalized person, including age, sex, marital status, and country of former nationality; location of the district office of the Service in which the application was filed and the title, authority, and location of the official or court administering the oath of allegiance; statement that the Attorney General, having found that the applicant had complied in all respects with all of the applicable provisions of the naturalization laws of the United States, and was entitled to be admitted a citizen of the United States of America, thereupon ordered that the applicant be admitted as a citizen of the United States of America; attestation of an immigration officer; and the seal of the Department of Justice.
They had to mention US and USA because they are not the same. The US has laws, and the USA has citizens. The USA, not the US, is a member of the UN. The passport says USA on the cover. The passport data page says Nationality USA. By what operation of law does anyone become a US citizen (the subject of the tax laws)?
They should have gone to war over it.
