Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

Okay, this has to be a movie, Biden is going to East Palestine now? LOL
Trump TS post:
'breaking news' and 'bombshell' announcements are so overused and blown out of proportion. let me know if something actually happens. an interview with someone no one knows claiming they've heard things? ugh. someone said that from here on out the show is to wake the normies.
It’s hard to believe that so many people are still asleep, but they are. It’s crazy !
Veganism destroyed https://youtu.be/vIjUMJtI4eI
Carnivore definitely helped my gut issues and ... after a month I felt like my brain was upgraded, using bigger vocabulary effortlessly, no brain fog. But if I didn't have enough fat I was unable able to sleep. I may try it again with more fat.
I started Carnivore 12/27/23 it’s a learning process for me. I thought people were nuts eating browned butter bites & I love butter on food not raw. After seeing several videos saying women need more fat to lose weight and keep hormones balanced I figured what do I have to lose. Made some Saturday night I made a batch and made another batch last night. They are so good it’s hard to describe.
All I know is refined carbs are the reason for clogged arteries and many problems with the health issues america is notorious for.
Ribeye steak with melted butter in a dip cup are my go-to
YES. I loved my grass fed butter with meat every day.

Just ramblings from me. I just happened to remember seeing clean and swift in the q posts and remembering that movie clean.
I like these ramblings. 👌

Anybody else think about Fried Chicken after reading this story 😂🍗🐓
Ugh 😣 sometimes I despise the format on GAW or win. Maybe it’s because I’m on mobile instead of PC. I wish the spacing was in the normal format. I apologize my previous post is all bunched together and not in the correct format of spacing and paragraphs. It’s hard me to read long text posts maybe for the majority it’s not an issue. You wouldn’t believe how many spaces I put in between paragraphs. Is it just me or everyone has issues? Rant over and getting to work im this house.
394 military planes up in the air 🤔
Over entire US or in different areas? Edit: just looked that seems like a lot. I don’t know enough about this. Is this normal? I know they usually don’t have the tracking (can’t remember the term). I hear them at NC coast and can’t find them on ADS. I go down occasionally and it’s near Camp Lejuene & Cherry Point.
I was told that it wasn't worth mentioning unless over 300. Now it's 427. Yes, it's the end of the month but that seems like something to keep an eye on.
Update on my Carnivore journey. (( Not posted to lure anyone into this journey. Wanted to share update because even though the food changes and habits have changed I don’t think I would be successful with out God giving me the strength.))
When I started this my number one goal was weight loss and if I benefited in other ways that’s great. I didn’t go into to this thinking it’s for life. I still can’t say if it’s forever but I’m more convinced that might be best for me.
• started 12/27
• lost 13 pounds (it’s very repid and it might not be for everyone)
• hubby has lost 20 pounds. He’s better with discipline.
for the first time since I was a teenager I’m NOT:
• eating at night or several hours before bed • fasting at least ten hours or more • eating sugar or bread • not hungry in between meals.
Improvements in daily life
• more physically active in house duties than I’ve been in ten years.
• I used to do crafts, cleaning etc at night and during the day. I’ve had the desire for years, especially crafts, but couldn’t get motivated to actually do anything.
• sleeping better but not perfect yet. A few nights of insomnia. However on days following my body doesn’t require long naps to make up for sleep loss. Still active on those days.
(hubby says he has lots more energy. It shows he’s been doing work in the house. Small kitchen remodel, moving furniture, wiring and electronics around in the den. I’m talking moving wiring in the wall and ceiling. He knows what he’s doing but it’s laborious.)
Yes, I have cheated occasionally nothing to severe. I am human and a very stubborn one. Also, it’s hard to go from eating such variety and then go to no condiments or bread for burgers, wraps etc. (some condiments are ok but it’s not strict carnivore, dirty carnivore) After a week I tried ketchup on a plain burger and couldn’t eat it. It tasted like a tangy sugar. They say your desire for non carnivore foods will eventually go away. I have been eating burger bowls with less than tsp of avocado mayo, dill pickles and mustard. Yesterday mayo touched my finger and I liked it off. It had a strong chemical taste. I’ll probably lay off mayo, had it three times since beginning. Unfortunately sweets still taste amazing. That’s probably my brain telling me it’s great. Can’t explain this like I heard it. When you eat sweets (even artificial) it’s a different part of your brain that thinks it tastes good. Basically it’s how we become addicted.
We have eaten things that aren’t healthy and certainly not on the diet. He wanted Mexican weeks ago and we got chimichangas (covered in melted cheese). I don’t eat the salad with toppings. Prefer peco or plain avocado with Mexican. As soon as we left I felt terrible in my gut and was burping a lot! The mistake was trying more than one food that’s not from an animal. I don’t know what gave me the gas. Lesson learned! On a family weekend at the coast we both stuck to it slightly. Ate less meals and no snacks between. Did have sister shuberts cinnamon rolls because I had them in the freezer and wanted them gone. Most things I through out and lots of things like pasta, canned tomatoes & olives I’m saving for my daughter when she needs them.
At the beginning I was probably higher percentage keto than carnivore. Occasionally I ate avocado, olives & hummus.
I’m still eating dairy and that’s a no or a yes depending on who you listen to. I’m not buying more when it’s gone. I still have allergies and chronic pain that require either medication or herbs. I’d like to know if dairy is causing it.
Tomorrow is my grandbaby’ birthday and party this weekend. I’ll be eating off the plan but not go off the rails completely. I’m cooking her a birthday cake for the very small evening celebration tomorrow with her parents and other grandparents.
I still want pizza and basically anything Italian but know it’s not a weekly or even monthly thing I need.
YouTube videos have been very helpful with this new way of eating. Apparently there’s a small percentage of people that’s been eating carnivore for 5, 10, 15, 20 and plus years. I never knew it existed until November 2023 and started studying it. Jordan Peterson, wife and daughter are on the plan. His testimony is what got me digging into this. Several videos about this in addition to every day people.
Congratulations Sister!! Thirteen pounds is a lot. I always say going in the less direction is a big deal. 🥳❤️
Some YT channels for motivation on carnivore diet: Dr Chaffee, Homesteadhow, Bill Nott, Steakandbuttergal.. I'll do a link list tomorrow
Thanks I’m slowly finding people. I’ve watched Dr Berry & Dr Chaffee. Just found Steak and butter gal. It’s something about her I don’t like. I’m not implying she’s not knowledgeable. Either it’s her or the format. It’s kinda like a podcast set and I can’t stand that. Also, Dr Berry’s wife is pretty good but she’s more keto than carnivore. I’m thinking I might end up keto eventually but want to get lots of weight off first. Then again I don’t know. I love going to grocery and only shopping meat & dairy. I know when spring and summer comes I’ll want fresh local fruit and tomatoes. We will see for know day by day.
That's the key: Take it day by day. I think you hit it on the nail.
I'm the same way. Just doing strictly carnivore for now to shed the weight (but I know I can't when travelling/vacation), having one steak a day, sometimes chicken drumsticks (because they're cheap, $4 by the dozen at my local) and cold cuts on the side in case of emergency. And eggs, bacon for breakfast. I no longer feel hungry or have cravings, but still do feel on edge at times when keto is high and too much coffee. I can't give up the heavy cream for my coffee/tea but tried using the minimal.
By the way, have you tried the keto urine strip? It is quite helpful as you can test it and become more aware of how you feel during certain stages. I got the cheap one for 10 bucks 150 strips and they work just as well as the expensive ones.
I agree steakandbuttergal seems abit phony/over the top, but some of her info are good and a good motivation.
I’m kinda surprised to hear an eye doctor and another doctor (not sure of his specialty) promote being in the sun as healthy and we need it. This is very good but (fyi) it’s an hour. I tend to watch stuff like this in the evening when it’s just me still up. I found this account researching carnivore diet, will update my progress on another post. She mentions the highest rates of skin cancer are from northern climates and people that don’t get in the sun. She seems to be awake to the medical system and the industry promoting sunscreen. I do think she’s a little too dark for a blonde but it’s not my body. To each their own. At least she’s not over weight like so many including myself.
****Facts you need to know about the sun, vitamin d & skin cancer.
These are taken from transcripts of the video. I love this feature on YouTube.
Think about how could the Sun the lifegiving force out there be something that is causing disease causing death and toxic to us. So we have to really think about these things logically.
She provides studies that back this up. I haven’t had a chance to confirm. I’ve always questioned skin cancer from the sun and don’t believe the sun is truly dangerous.

Oh yes, I learned this a while back from a Dr that is Greek I believe. The sunscreen is the cause of skin cancer not the sun. I have never worn sunscreen. My job was an outside one for 8 years and I’m light skinned and light hair. I also eat a lot of greens and colorful veggies. People that do this help fight off skin cancer by the diet. He also says to not wear sunglasses because the sun is good for the eyes . Have you ever heard of earthing? Lots of good information on that as well. It’s amazing what we have been lied to about.
What's with all the comments about her hair and body if the point is about skin cancer and the sun?
I’m not trying to be rude or judgy “B”. In this video she’s tan but it looks natural. Some videos she’s very tan and it looks more like a different race or skin color. The blonde only makes it stand out. I don’t care if she’s black as night or orange as Trump. I probably shouldn’t have mentioned it at all. It’s just very obvious and some anti sun people might immediately say she’s over tanning. We have all seen over tanning and the wrinkles these people get. This lady isn’t wrinkled. Makes me wonder if the wrinkles on regular over tanned people are from environmental, foods or genetic.

--The Call, "The Walls Came Down"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAxg8nuvPKM
The song alludes to the walls of Jericho falling down when the horns blew. Pretty amazing too how archaeologists discovered the city of Jericho, and how the walls had come down.
Wow, the beginning of that MTV video, show you exactly what they were planning to do with us. Yikes. Basically eat us alive.
Thanks I love stuff like this.
This is an interesting video that claims Joe Biden has had some facelift surgery.
Has anyone noticed that The Hill seems to be swinging their pendulum towards the right end a bit? I have been seeing video recommendations on YT for their channel and I'm seeing some content talking about some fairly based perspective on stuff.
Yes, I have noticed that.
Is it just me, or does it seem like there are for more people in the 1 percenter wealth club than than 1 percent of the population?
I mean, I look around and although I see a lot of poverty, I just can'help but think how many people seem to be so fucking wealthy.
I am not jealous... but I do feel like maybe I played the game wrong. I guess that fits... I was never the kid who won at Monopoly.
I you look at the real wealth and realise that most of the top end of the Cabal were trillionaires, 1% are really those with hundreds of billions in real wealth or publicly multi billionaires. I dont know about you but I have rarely ever met actual billionaires. They are still rare in normal circles.
The people whom you see around you who you think are fucking wealthy, are nothing but peons in the big picture. You are right - they played a different game than us, but it does not mean that we played the game wrong.
Wrong is very subjective. To be that wealthy, you have to be fully assimilated into the matrix and make a lot of compromises. Long before you are allowed into the satanic club, they will make sure that you have to throw away all your values and morals, in a million little actions to make your way up the ladder.
The correct way to play this game is to build a life where we are not dependant on their currency. Where we are independent, don't work for anyone else, dont have debts, and dont have tastes that we cannot afford, and not only is this a recipe to make us happy, it is also the recipe to keep us free.
People who lived like this were least affected by the plandemic. They are also the least affected by the exonomic downturns, and they are the safest when the collapse happens soon.
Thank you, very well said.
Good night John Boy😀
Good night Mary Ellen! ❤️
I was wondering who would get that. I should watch that show again. Wholesome family TV is lacking today. Glad my child still loves the old stuff. Her favorites are Angy Griffin and I Love Lucy.
We gifted a book set of Laura Ingle Wilders little house series at a birthday, and the mom had zero recognition of Little House, the author, the TV show, nothing. Public school product, obviously. We shake our heads but also try and work out how to inspire the kids to explore the right stuff. Hopefully the books won't get tossed out.
When I was a homeschooled kid back in the 90's, we were allowed to watch tv in the afternoons after our school work was done. We LOVED Ozzy and Harriet, Dobie Gillis, Hopalong Cassidy, The Real McCoys, and Annie Oakley. There are probably a couple of others that I can't remember; it seemed like the local station would cycle through the old series. I miss that kind of tv.

Why 17?
17 does seem od for or magazine article. Can’t go wrong with Mexican meals at home. A pan of ground burger has so many options. Just had a burger bowl yesterday. Try some copy cat Taco Bell recipes. I,ve made crunch wraps at home and they are great. I have eaten Taco Bell some in my life, it’s not all that. When we did eat was because it’s cheap but not today.
There’s numbers in all kinds of buzzfeed articles. Some of them are gonna be 17
Comms for that part of the Cabal puppetry thats wising up to their fate and getting ready to melt into the general public and hope to escape their fate. Irony is that the comms are sent by the Q team, so its a trap comm.
I've been so freaking busy lately I usually can't get to GC until the evening. Sometimes gasp I miss GAW all day. Disappointed in myself.
However, grabbing this slammer. 💪
Do you like Frontline Assembly? I had one of their tapes I would play a lot in my car. Can't remember which it was. I looked on allmusic.com and can't be sure which album it was.
I remember one Frontline Assembly song that kept repeating Pappy "I don't remember where I was the day JFK was shot" Bush's favorite phrase, "New World Order." IIRC, the song also kept repeating "What is this war on America?" Does that ring a bell?
I figured it out. The Frontline Assembly album I had on cassette was their debut from 1987, "The Initial Command." Early Industrial music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g37ldnrIB_I
Some of my friends didn't appreciate this sort of music. I admit some of the tracks are a bit uninteresting, but the ones with a grinding beat are great. I guess I was confusing Frontline Assembly with Ministry. Ministry did that song "N.W.O." with the George HW Bush quote looping.
Maybe this is what’s playing in the brain of the person who received the NeuroLink this week 😂🤣
I am a huge fan of Biblical Archeology and have always enjoyed this Youtube creators content. In his latest video he's on the search for Eden's Pishon River (which is the link I've included below), but I recommend checking out his many older videos as well.

Thank you for the link, love this stuff.
You're welcome and I hope you enjoy their content as much as I do fren!
I am most definitely enjoying it, thanks again.
Thank you for introducing me to this channel! I also love ancient archaeology in general and biblical archeology in particular. Look forward to watching this. Cheers.
You're very welcome fren! I think you'll find alot of these two channels videos fascinating. Enjoy and God Bless!
We bought one of his books and get a magazine because it works into history home school too...
Now that's a great idea fren!
I love Bible archeology also but I just love history, good or bad I want to know about the past. I found him about a month ago. It’s so good!
Awesome to hear that and sorry I didn't post about his channel sooner. There's a couple that also creates video's similar to his that you may enjoy if you're not familiar already. Here's a link to their latest video if you'd like to check them out and thank you for your feedback

Thanks and no need for apologies. I think I posted it commenting to someone in a related topic. I watch so much history and biblical videos on YouTube and I forget to post.
Ha! I know the feeling, and what a time to be alive!
Since the snow has melted, I'm back to riding my bicycle to work as much as I can. Yesterday on my way to work, I had my gym bag stuffed in my rear basket along with other items so that I could work out after work. At the end of the day, I realized that my shoe bag had fallen out from my gym bag along the way. So I re-traced my route home but could not find my blue shoe bag. Then this morning I saw it, hanging from the fence next to a small parking lot on the side street I took. If it was hanging there yesterday evening, I did not see it. But now I have my gym shoes back!
I swear, I cannot imagine this happening to me in America. Even if someone was kind enough to hang the shoe bag on a fence like that, someone else would just swipe it. "Oh look, it's a loaf of bread that AOC talks about!" Japan is not a Christian nation, but in general they are far more considerate of others. I never lock my bicycle anywhere I park, and I leave my helmet and gloves in the back basket. Nobody ever swipes my stuff.
Japan is a magical place. People do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. Very interesting culture, and a wonderful place to be.
It's just sad because Western culture has dropped the ball. So many reasons to list, but it shows that Japan can tap into the universal morality without invoking God's name directly. I've often thought about what it would take to awaken American society to the level of what I can appreciate here in Japan. All of the cultural "diversity" wears away on social cohesion and moral relativism are two major factors.
You also have to keep in mind, the reason the Cabal’s not so hard after Japan, it’s because they’re not Christian. They don’t have to worry about those souls going to hell. They may have a wonderful society, and a beautiful country… But they are an island, and they have strict immigration laws, which makes a huge difference on how things turn out for a Society. You’re living in one of the nicest societies outside of America, actually… I think better than America now. But I think the percentage of Christians living in Japan is under 5%.
We all know the deep state Cabal is run by satanic pedophiles. They hate Jesus Christ, and they hate anybody who is made in his image. If you look at the map of the world right now, it’s all the Christian nations that are being attacked. Satan doesn’t want anybody to go to heaven. He’s going to take as many people with him as possible.
Also, Japan is so far advanced in technology, and there ability to use electronic payments. It’s weird because it used to be an all cash society. Women were well-known financial savers, and they would go to the banks with their brown bags and pay their mortgages in cash. Even back in 2011 after the tsunami, bags and boxes of cash were washing up on the shores.
Japanese people are very unique, and they have a very interesting society. But I think they have one of the highest suicide rate because of the pressures put on them from their parents to be best 24 seven.
There's a revival going on in Japan. Many youths are turning to Jesus because they're waking up and realizing without the holy spirit, it's empty inside. I saw youtube videos of it the other day, gotta find it again.
Yeah, I'd like to see the link to the Japanese revival too. Maybe it's because I live in a small city in the mountains, but I just don't see it. I do get to share about Jesus when appropriate and not crossing any lines. I can get away with it by framing it as a discussion on culture. Not like I am telling anybody what they ought to believe. I think the only ones who'd object are my fellow foreign teachers who are shitlibs, but they all work at different schools, so I don't interact with them much anyway.
maybe revival is not the right word but there are many Christians in Japan but they're not as obvious

Curious why you moved to Japan (with out giving away privacy info). Was it a job, school, love? Just wanted to get away from (I believe) America? Sometimes I’m envious of people that pick up and move out of the country. In the long run I’m glad I stayed where I was raised because I got an extra 30 years with my grandparents who were more like parents.
A bit of yes to all the questions. I worked in Japan right after college for 2 years and enjoyed it. I married a J-girl and we're about to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary next month. I've just always felt happier in Japan and my wife did not care for living in America. The "American dream" has been murdered by the Uniparty, so after nearly 10 years of a tumultuous life in America, we moved back to Japan where although I'm not making as much, work is consistent each year and we aren't plummeting into debt. Rent is far cheaper here than Arizona currently.
I'll tell you that it took a LOT of courage to move to Japan both times, and especially the second time because by then we had a toddler. When I moved back to Arizona after 2 years in Japan and was then a newlywed, I suffered from what I suppose you could call a "dysphoria." Reverse culture shock hit me hard. We'd visit her family each year in Japan and every time we came back, I felt as though I was reunited with a version of myself who had stayed in Japan. I don't know how else to say it, but I am certain that God gave me a heart for Japan in my late teen years and has a purpose for me being here.
If you wanna know more, send me a private message on here.
Hi just getting around to replying. (Don’t think I replied if I did excuse my duplication) You have made a great life for yourself and family. I admire someone that chooses out of the norm for themselves. If I hadn’t of had such great grandparents and not net my husband I believe I could have moved out of NC and even out the country. I’ve always loved adventure and travel. I couldn’t now because I’m close to my daughter and have a granddaughter. I get having culture shock. America isn’t the place it was forty years ago. Heck twenty five years ago wasn’t as good as the 70s but so much better than today. I’m praying we make a comeback! I say live where you are happy, comfortable and most of all feel safe. If I could I’d leave my location and go to the coast. If my daughter ever moves there we would follow. She’s an only child and lives next door. Grateful that she wants us around. By the way you can live out of country and still have a love for home even it it’s not “home” anymore.
Indeed! That's why I am here. Plus if America falls, the rest of the world falls. I'd rather not ever live in America again and I am even more incompatible with American society than I was 24 years ago, but I still love America and if America cannot stand up against evil, the rest of the world will not.
I agree with this. I think that’s why so many people from other countries are pulling for Trump back in office. Since 2020 I’ve seen comments from other countries praising trump. Even people from the Muslims in the Middle East. You have to translate and I’m just nosy enough to take the time. Sometimes I get worried what if we do fall. Clearly I’ve watched too much Walking Dead and Apocalypse shows. I have faith in God and believe we were protected by him for most of the time since we became a nation. I don’t think he’s given up on us but he can be an angry God and rightly so. You can love someone unconditionally but still be angry. Oh yeah we have gone down hill in the past 25 years. I have changed so much. I’m an out going people person, never met a stranger and love to help people. I don’t even want to be around the stupid people sleep walking with mask on. Also crime has increased so much I don’t go anywhere alone except a just a few local stores. They are killing, robbing and stealing like crazy. But that’s what happens when there’s no consequences for your actions. You take care and enjoy yourself in your “new” home country. It doesn’t matter where you lay your head. Home is where you are loved and happy. Enjoyed learning about your life and experiences.
God bless you. It's nice hearing you were able to spend time with your grandparents. I noticed many who moved to foreign countries when they were younger often feel lonely and in their later years have big regrets over the lost times they could have spent with their parents and grandparents.
Sorry it’s been a while. I’ve had a lot going on. God did bless me! I had maternal grandparents next door, maternal great grandmother next door till I was 16, maternal great grandfather died when I was 3 1/2 and I remember him. My grandma always said he died happy because I was the last person he saw before he left. Strangely I remember that day. Maybe because others told me I ran from one house to his and was the last to see him. But, I remember the events like it’s a movie. I wasn’t as close to my paternal grandparents but do remember very good times. My paternal grandfather died when I was 9 & grandmother died when I was 41, she was 94. Because of my experiences that’s why I will do anything for my grandchild. I’m very thankful for the good life my parents provided and do love them. It was very tough at times emotionally and I have never gotten along with my mom. My daddy can be a SOB 90% of the time but I have always got along better with him & I’m just like him in personality. I’m not complaining at all. There’s was problems but I didn’t let it get me down and I raised my daughter in a different way.
I can see having emotional problems with out family support. I do believe a lot of people move away because they don’t have a bond. I’m so proud of my daughter as a new mom. I don’t over step and sometimes she asks me for advice. That’s a wonderful reward.
Thank you for sharing your story. Yeah I have the same issue with my mother. Idk why or perhaps that's how most mom and daughter rship are but I was really close to my grandma for some unknown reason. To this day i can still feel my grandma with me or start crying when I think about her. She left at 93 y.o in 2021 during covid but thank God she never took the shot or went to hospital. She was healthy and mentally sharp and even read the Bible and did her hair before bed before Jesus took her home peacefully that night. It was something i will always be grateful for and all glory to God for He is kind and loving always.

Cabal purposefully botched Christianity ministry attempts in Japan. Note modern western ministry spends more money and resourced in SEA and Korea than Japan because it is assumed to be a lost cause there
If Christianity had succeeded before 20th century in Japan dare I say they'd be in the top 5 globally. It would be like the floating pyramid we wuz kangz memes but for real
I am still baffled why they thought talking about sin so much was going to work
Be that as it may, you both make valid points. Yes, organized religion can get crappy, but people won't hear about Jesus through their lousy televisions. Don't knock missionary work too much. As it is, Japan is just now starting to ramp up the damned LGBTQP crap. They've had trannies on TV for years, but they seem to be proliferating. So far I've not seen it in school curriculums. My daughter is keeping an eye out for that. There was some Saturday midnight drama on TV which involved new neighbor moving in, a homely chick and a pretty chick living next door. The homely chick invites the other to spend a day together. The pretty chick says yes, and the other seems a little bit too excited over it. I could see where it was heading, and then at the end of the show where it gives a preview of next week's episode, my wife and daughter were like, "Oh, it's one of THOSE kind of shows." Yeah, I saw it coming. That night when my daughter was drying her hair, I bent my index finger and middle finger down on each hand to simulate pussies, and then I just started ramming them together. She laughed so hard that maybe the neighbors could hear.
My dad told me of how MacArthur pleaded, "Send the missionaries" after the war, but the call was ignored. Christian forgiveness was kept in check by false flag hoax that the attack on Pearl Harbor was a dirty sneak attack which came without without warning.
South Korea has quite a number of Christians. I remember taking off from Seoul at dusk once, and the number of illuminated crosses atop churches shining across the cityscape...
Nice story. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you were able to find them.
Some places are still like that in America. It doesn't seem like it but I know one place where the majority of people are decent. It's not a popular place and out away from the bigger city lights. I'm not telling where it is for fear of spoiling it... I may never live there but have friends there. Hopefully we can get America back to that kind of civility in our civilization. Good for you fren to be a part of yours!
Can confirm, I live part time on Kauai. All along the side of the road, you’ll find fruit stands in flower stands. There’s usually a box or a jar that you put the money in, it’s all by the honor system. I bought some avocados ones, and it was a big jar, just full of money, sitting there next to the avocados. People say Hawaii is blue, but it’s not maybe Honolulu years, but not Kauai, in Hanalei bay, or Princeville, or Kilauea. Lots of Christians and wonderful people live there.
I can’t speak for him, but he’s only one person. But… The people that are doing work on my family’s house right now actually are his neighbors. Weird, huh? They’re literally next-door neighbors to Mark Zuckerberg.
Glad you got them back. There’s usually nice people around even if we don’t see or interact with them. I left my phone on a shelf in a store once because I was careless looking at something on the shelf. Once I realized it I went to CS and they had my phone. On the flip side I’ve experienced the opposite. About twenty years ago I dropped my phone in the Walmart parking lot and didn’t realize it till I got home. It was a flip phone or maybe one scale up from it, no internet. I called it and this woman answered. I was excited and said you found my phone. She says I can get it back if I pay her. I said enjoy it while you can. Hung up and called you phone company. Told them it was stolen. The rep was nice enough to advise me to say it’s lost. Insurance would not pay if stolen. We don’t have insurance now. Don’t pay for insurance now.
That sucks because they should be able to track the person down with the phone.
First Verse
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Always remember, be careful what you pray/ask for...
Are you kinda saying like if you pray for patience be careful because God will give you situations that require patience to be grown. Or something else.
Cause on the other hand I'm a firm believer that we should pray what we Got and be open with God about what our heart is feeling
Good points. Your second is gratitude, which is also very important.
What I was trying to say is careful for what you pray/ask for...because it can come to fruition quickly.
Ive been a member of our fire dept as a volunteer for a few years when I was asked to work paid half time in training. Loved it big time. Always thought it would be great to work full time. Then a year ago this pst deceit was asked if I’d be interested in going full time. Half training which was excellent, the training chief was decent to work with. The second new half working administration for the admin chief. Who’s a nasty person. She comes across sicky sweet at face value but when she has some authority over a person she’s a significant bitch. One of those always defensive, never can accept suggestions, killed any cost savings and efficiency improvements I suggested.
She really didn’t need an admin assistant but wasted so much time she conned the chief that she needed one and hired me for my second half. She had had an asst a year ago but they hired a weasely girl who had been a station lieutenant who ended up taking advantage, lied on her time card, and ended up getting fired.
The admin chief hasn’t had an asst aside from the two of us. She interviewed others before hiring the weasely girl but no one clicked. I think no one wanted to work for her, for the low rate, etc.
I was miserable when I had to work the admin half of my job.
My amazing wife said from the start I should quit if I was so miserable. But I knew if I quit the admin half I’d be let go completely including training.
So I started thinking that it’s be best if maybe I put it out there that I be let go. This was in early November.
The next day the chief speaks with me that he decided to eliminate my position, eliminate the training chiefs position and rebuild the training program.
There were some training issues included as well...apparently I allegedly mansplained to some of the newer woke members blah blah blah...
But the point of this is I asked to be removed from the admin chiefs work and almost immediately it was done.
The whole department is in flux...not sure it’ll all work out well. But the chief wants to make a name for himself before he retires.
We had had a great training record, no one ever failed state certification. People were getting certified and then getting full time firefighter offers in the biggest agencies in the state. And it was a boatload of fun.
I’m still a member and a station officer. But am not keeping up the 200+ Annual call volume. I had been among the top 3 responders for years.
And I’ll be training with other agencies academies through the spring which gives me my training fix and keeps my skills up and fresh.
Totally sucks the full time gig ended. But life is much more relaxed, I’m happier, my wife sees it and is supportive.
Prayer/positive affirmations work. Choose wisely.
My favorite verse fren, and loving the translation too. Gets the point across better. God bless you.
Nice fren. Glad to see the Word and your diligence!
