On a personal note, I hope LeBron James is similarly exposed soon.
There are rumors swirling, and outright stated in the case of Hall-of-Famer Kevin Garnett, that LeBron is a major steroid user, which would explain his insane longevity at the NBA level.

This will hurt--a lot. But I was a basketball fan for 25 years, and even though the league went woke and I thus quit watching, the sport still means a lot to me. It needs to be cleaned up, and its biggest name revealed as the massive scumbag he is.
Steroids never left professional sports. They became more refined and harder to detect. The "Steroid Era" in baseball was when the players were taking steroids that produced a massively muscled look and allowed for maximum power, hence the explosion in home runs. Today's steroids allow the pro athlete to achieve a more lean and strong look and are harder to detect. They are also better for sports like basketball, where longer, leaner muscles make for better play. Baseball never got rid of its steroid problem. The sport just learned to hide it better and players now have more 30-40 home run seasons to avoid suspicion. The NBA has also increased its steroid usage because the steroids developed are now beneficial. The old school steroids that made an athlete built like a body builder worked against most players games. All this to say LeBron for sure has done steroids during most of his career.
They stopped testing for steroids in professional sports.
Remember, the MLB scandal was exposed not by failed tests, but by whistle-blowers.

Regarding baseball, I agree the drugs never left but more players are hitting 30-40hrs because they only swing for home runs. It's either a walk, strike out or HR. Look at how far all the batting averages have dropped. I haven't watched the nbc in a decade especially once they started paying tribute to cop killers and not playing for George Floyd. MLB is dying as well Haven't watched that since 2019.
Has there ever been a study on the average lifespan of professional athletes? It would seem that they would have a lower lifespan due to the steroids, despite seemingly being "in shape", at least in shape during their pro careers.
