My initial thought was deep state shenanigans. But perhaps, the Meta/Facebook servers are connected to all the voting machines, and by FB going down, voting machine shenanigans also went down. In other words, a whitehat operation to secure elections. Perhaps everyone logging back in at the same time is overloading deepstate servers.

Did the same. However, I just got a bonus message about how some users find my content annoying or abusive, yet I never post ANYTHING annoying or abusive on FB. I save that stuff for here and twitter. hehe

Here as well- we don't really do personal social media but we have business pages on FB, insta, and a business YT channel. I about had a heart attack when we got logged out and couldn't get back in- I don't need our business page hacked lol. I'm simultaneously freaked out over the outage and relieved that we aren't hacked and our customers aren't getting spammed with horrible messages or posts.
Good point. A couple years ago this happened to my personal page that was of course linked to my business page. Whoever it was quickly changed my email and password and that was all she wrote. I was so upset and lost over 10 years of photos and videos and posts. They posted weird things to my friends and family and on my business page. My husband was able to Delete it all from the business page because he was also administrator over it.
Do you find you get much business off FB? I have run some business pages and I myself can say I have NEVER bought anything bc of a FB page and find them usually to be wrong or neglected or annoying and so I sort of tune them out.

I feel you there. I have ads running for my business and rely on it somewhat for finding new clients.
