I have discovered a teflon-coated red-pill … “The biggest reason Hollywood and rich Democrat types, and ESPECIALLY RINOs are terrified of Trump getting elected is that he will take away their corrupt protection from TAX CHEATING AND INSIDER TRADING”. 100% of them stop and think about it. Even brain dead normies know those fuckheads cheat on their taxes and steal money from us through government grift. Then you hit them with the explanation of the ‘projection’ attacks … FOR SOME FUCKED UP REASON, that is what resonates with them.

They are the sheep after all, the biggest thing with them is they like to remain safe within the fold. We here are independent thinkers that are not worried about what others think and will speak our minds. We don't have the same filter that determines how 'out there' our opinions or how well it will be received.
This is one thing the left consistently beat us at, they know how to package and deliver concepts, thoughts or slogans into something palatable to the sheep. We try to force feed them the red pill, as we value truth a lot but sheep don't, they want to fit in.
You touched on something everyone agrees on and more importantly something the sheep knows everyone else thinks. So they're willing to go along with it. Not because they thought about it but because it is safe to do so.
I think one of the fundamental misconceptions many people have is that the corporate media isn’t as consolidated as it is. So when the average person sees that these TV networks, and these movies, and these magazines, and these newspapers, and these toy companies, and these publishing houses all share the same opinion, that they can’t ALL be wrong. If you are able to show them that all these “separate” companies are actually owned by the same six international conglomerates, and those are all run by three international governing bodies, it changes that paradigm.
Liberals are also vaguely aware of the problem of corporate consolidation so they aren’t totally resistant to the idea either.

I think you're on to something, farpointpatriot. Compared to most topics, insider trading and tax shenanigans aren't going to be traumatic to normies -- as you point out, everyone already assumes this type of corruption by politicians, and nothing really horrifying is involved -- yet the way you've phrased it, they completely disarm the anti-Trump hate campaign.
Trump as a non-politician and an outsider in D.C. is one of his biggest selling points. They needed “Russian collusion” to paper over that. They ran that one long enough that the “Trump as outsider” narrative was mostly forgotten.
Trump's family has been involved in politics since before he was born.
