Still think Trump should consider James Woods as secretary of something, maybe Press secretary. Woods is a smart fellow.
If he becomes Press Secretary I will need to apply for a Press Pass and bring massive amounts of popcorn.
Yea, I love to see him give the lame stream media his signature look as seen at the end of this. https://youtu.be/Hu9K1ojwUzk
Works for me. I'm older and am willing to stand in line for hours for an honest election.
I'm thinking about shut-ins. They should have a right to vote too.
I'm thinking if you are so down and out that you are a shut-in its likely you won't be around to see the consequences of your vote, and if they think they have a stake in the future then find a way to get off their ass and get to the polls like everyone else.
Absentee ballots have been the way of the cheat for a long time, and election fraud has to cease if this country is to survive.
Maybe military can help with this.
Agree! 7am-5pm work schedule makes it hard. Lines after 5 are miserable.
Press sec material right there or tucker
I remember when they used to close the bars on election day, and Sunday.
Yes, but only if the ammendment is passed by con-gress and ratified through the state legislatures. A constitutional convention is FAR FAR FAR too dangerous.
Government issued Real ID.
Unfortunately there is always a way for someone to find a way to counterfeit documents.
Yes, but let them forge it. It will slow them down and force their hand to show up in person. Just like a "wall won't stop them" but it does stop the free flow of old, woman ,children just pouring in.
Like we suddenly trust the states drivers License ???
Maybe a birth certificate or passport.
Agree. Bigly.
Yes totally
Ink, on paper. It was good enough for the Declaration of Independence, and good enough for The Constitution. We founded a nation on ink and paper. We should continue to honor that tradition with our ballots on voting day.
All that he said + dip your finger in the purple permanent ink (takes a week or so to be gone) when you vote.
That way one person one vote is clearly and easily enforceable and you won't be able to get away with busing people around to different precincts to vote from a stack of stolen identities and dead people on the roles.
Omg doesn't he know blacks and browns are too poor and retarded to know how to do that. Let us handle their votes.
-democrats
Yes, agree.
There are many who must work on voting day. That said, those shifts should be balance with all employees staffed (see hospitals, gas stations, emergency workers, etc...). Max 4 hour shifts for citizens to encourage the culture to focus on voting.
Also, any green card holders would not have that privilege. If enough staff are legal residents for work, they should be expected to work full shifts that day IMO. Though let every business decide how they want to approach it.
I like the idea but once you open it up to a constitutional amendment, be prepared for the constitutional convention that comes with it. This will never pass.
There is no such thing as a day when no American has to go to work. Health car workers, people in food production, etc.
What we need is to grab the power from the government, so that it doesn't really matter who is in office.
