i wasn't army but unit numbers can end up being arbitrary. there are 4 groups and 2 of them are part of special forces, the 4th and 8th. which I always thought corresponded with 4 and 8 chan.

Lawjic offered his interpretation, albeit in direct or brusque terms: there is no significance to the fact that the 4 videos add up to 114, nor is there any foundation for claiming that number generated by the 4 videos has a direct connection to Qdrop 114.
The difference you are drawing "between saying X and saying Y" is a difference you are drawing specifically, and may no apply to op's comment at all.
They may not be a shill, and not an idiot, but just annoyed and frustrated by certain segments of our community drawing really obscure connections for .... for what purpose?).

Anyway, that's how I see it.
There were specific and important connections that Q drew out attention to during the posting operation. They included important 'proofs' establishing the legitimacy of Q, illumination to the level of cooperation and coordination with Potus, etc.
But it almost seems like, after 3+ years of Q not posting, a lot of people want to re-experience the same feelings generated by those times and then draw all sorts of connections between a wide variety of different things (i.e. NOT Q drops and potus tweets, etc) and infer all sorts of meanings. Sometimes I wonder what's really driving that impulse, and if people really consider purpose.
Because the connections that Q drew our attention to had important purposes.
Anyway, shutting down the viewpoint that contradicts one's own, particularly if it is unpopular, is a short cut to group think, the very mental framework that Q made such efforts to have us exit.
These are the guys who specifically DO that kind of thing!
