I don't know if this has been mentioned here but there was an unbelievable calmness in the thousands of people at President Trump's Butler, PA rally. When gunshots rang out and we saw our President go down, most also went down, took cover. Seconds seemed like hours, even if you were watching on TV. When he rose up and raised his fist in the air triumphantly, so did the crowd with cheers of joy.
What happens in a crowed movie hall if someone yells "FIRE!" or in any type of a possible mass shooting scenario? The most human response is to run to escape, causing a mass stampede towards the exit, trampling people on the way. That did not happen at this rally. There was a calm, orderly exiting.
There could have been massive death and chaos given the thousands of MAGA attendees in a relatively confined space. The Trump supporters there, I believe were foremost concerned for the President's wellbeing over their own safety concerns. I am so proud of how most MAGA believers conduct themselves with dignity, control, commonsense and respect for their fellow citizens. We are proving to America, we are not what the left wants others to believe. We do NOT riot and destroy our own towns and cities, we do not back down and we will NOT give up on defending America. WWG1WGA!
They all acted with bravery and intelligence "get on the ground" "Get down", thanks for pointing this out!
Even POTUS told Lawrence Jones of Fox News he was proud of how the audience acted by not stampeding or panicking. The media would have had a field day.
Usually when shots fire at an event people start running away.
Remember this? Nearly the same amount of people. https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/nine-year-old-succumbs-death-toll-houston-concert-stampede-rises-10-2021-11-15/
You’ll find out who you are, the moments after you get shot and survive. And others will notice to. Trump..this guy gets shot, gets jumped on, and as soon as possible stands up cheering FIGHT! That’s says everything a person needs to know about Trump.
They say in combat only about 20-25% of people actually do the fighting. The rest kinda sit there waiting. Trump has shown he is the kind of guy I want in my ditch. When it get serious, the man goes all out. Won’t quit. Doesn’t know how to quit. Till the end. The guy is made of what this country needs. He’s old school as they say. He woke up the next day thanking God and understanding why he’s still here. Trump is the real deal folks.
What I would say to Trump is this. They tried to kill ya. They most likely will eventually. So what are you gonna say and do before that day comes. Could be today. Could be in 10 yrs. But the deepstate has teeth. They don’t care about the fallout, they want ya dead. So what are you gonna do today? What would you say if you survived something, that normally would’ve succeeded? Cause ya did. So what are you gonna do? Make it count. Look to God brother.
In my experience it was 100% of those in combat doing the fighting, unless they were wounded or dead. There may be hesitation the first time facing combat, but you get over it pretty quick. You will not last long in a combat unit if you refuse to fight.
I do agree though, there was plenty of opportunity for the men nearby to get involved. I realize some went to get the cops, and there were people on video yelling about the guy on the roof with a gun, but not one man went to confront or stop him. A group of men could have easily overpowered him, even if risking getting shot themselves.
There was a time when men did what needed to be done, regardless of the risks.
I’ve heard today that there may have been a police officer going after him, the shooter, but as he got towards the top, the assassin pointed the rifle at him and the cop fell back and off the roof. Slipped or something. Have zero confirmation other than “this is what I saw”. It’s interesting tho.
Read that too. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/new-secret-service-identified-rooftop-next-trump-pennsylvania/
I read he was standing on the shoulders of another cop and fell backwards...
Yes. I wish everyone would open carry everywhere they go too. Stuff like this would not happen. We are a nation that doesn’t even know the 5 parts of the 1st Amendment and have been groomed into thinking finger pointing is doing.
Nothing can change what happened and Trump is alive. That is a good outcome. The media might also try and spin stuff on regular citizens who stopped this too or SS could have whacked those who attempted to stop it.
Agreed, 100% participation, even from people who were super timid.

Praying that day will come again...🙏
Agree! They were all amazing. No wimps allowed.
My favorite was the guy standing next to Vince and his response when he saw Trump's fist. He didn't hesitate and jumped up with his fist and whooped. I watched it over and over again.
i keep thinking of a couple of the dudes behind the stage that were just hunched over and staring, being good observers/watching for further danger
Thank you for saying this. I’m so tired of the Democrats bashing on Republicans.
Fantastic post fren
I have close contacts who were there and many 2nd hand accounts that agree with this. It was a 3 hr traffic back up to get out and no chaos. Just a peaceful orderly and patient exiting.
Noticed! I was amazed and proud of the patriots standing brave and ready. I was saying to my husband how in any other gathering that huge so many would have stampeded out causing such chaos. I'm sure that was hoped for with the cameras rolling. Mass carnage expected...what they got must have been cripplingly disappointing for the deep state.
Love and blessings to all our brothers and sisters attending the Butler rally!💯❤️. Your acts of love are helping us all move to a better place. God is good, all the time!💯🎯
Trump supporters generally aren't little cowards like Biden supporters.
Yeah but we don’t take any real action like the left does either, so…..
Next rally: Take a small whiteboard & pen with you. Or a roll of white paper. Anything you can write on.
If you see something, write down SHOOTER or INTRUDER or THREAT or GUN on the board and hold it up in front of cops or USSS. Then point to where you see something. Get everybody around you to point.
They can't hear you yelling but the right ones might see a sign and a bunch of people pointing at a threat.
It’s because we have all been expecting this… it wasn’t a surprise.
Beautiful!
God's presence was there. That is why there was so much calm.
What are positive and uplifting post, and also observable! Yes I do agree with you… Things could’ve gone really south, but they didn’t people stayed calm.
Thank you for pointing that out!
Well said crystal! 👏
Amen.
This is a great point that I had not thought about.
I noticed that, too. Most places at any other event would have panicked and stampeded. Everyone waited to see what was happening and just watched - almost as if they had to see if they'd be needed for anything, if they could help in some way.
It was impressive and yes, it shows what a wholly different mindset will do for you.
Correct.
Kudos to all at the rally. they showed they were there for the right reasons: MAGA, Freedom, Truth etc etc
(btw am scottish, and i believe the USA and Mr Trump are our best hope for the future of humanity)

Agreed, very good point. My thoughts are with all who watched the horror unfold, the ones who tried valiantly to get the police and SS to respond to the active shooter BEFORE he took his shot and my condolences and prayers to the family of the deceased man (a firefighter, I believe, who gave his life protecting his poor daughters), and the wounded still fighting to recover.
That to me is a sign that people are with him through the worst of it. People had the choice to run, but stayed put. Almost to say "we are here for you Donald. We won't leave your side."...
Amen!!! Great post!!! Totally agree!!!
It was super hot, all love and all amazing positive energy. And a true family affair, which wasn't really shown. A big grassy area behind the packed crowd. Many families sitting on blankets, strollers, kids running around, eating ice cream. And the Trump volunteer team was amazing again. Walking around with cases of bottled water and pallets of water under blue tents all around to keep everyone hydrated. God Bless
Is this post a joke???
I disagree completely. Vehemently.
All that we saw was a bunch of sheep / cattle lumbering around with their cameras and not taking any action at ALL. Bunch of morons looking to get vid for instagram likes.
Why did nobody do anything like YELL “GUN, GUN, GUN!!!!” Or “FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!!” to get some actual attention and movement?
I saw video of at least one man interviewed by BBC who said he clearly saw the guy on the roof had a rifle in hand.
So dozens or more of these Trump rally attendees literally see a man climbing up a building, onto the roof, laying prone WITH A RIFLE VISIBLE, and all they do is stand around and film with their cameras?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Literally everybody there should be eternally ashamed of themselves, if not brought up on charges of treason / collusion. All the cops & USSS should face the firing squad for such epic, monumental, thermo-nuclear collective failures.
We claim to love Trump so much, yet when we see a literal sniper getting on a rooftop, AND cops / USSS actively doing NOTHING, we do the same? NOTHING?
Nobody else thought to even try to climb up there themselves??? If nothing else, but to bring more attention to the shooter???
OK; maybe trying to climb up there wouldn’t be the brightest, since you might get mistaken for the actual bad guy, but still; my point stands.
Nobody YELLED, nor did anything the fuck else of significance that I’ve seen.
All any of the attendees did was stand around filming.
Disgraceful.

I've actually seen videos today of people hollering and jumping up and down to notify the police or SS, getting themselves noticed as to tell them about the shooter...otherwise, with no weapons on them, what exactly did you expect them to do?
If they had run towards the building or gone up there, they definitely would have been mistaken to be with the shooter.
I saw caring patriots (not sheep) as they wanted to see the status of POTUS Trump, once he went down. When he was up and walked to the waiting vehicle, many started to clear out.
The audience members could only really tell the police if they saw the guy with the gun. They were inside a fenced-in area. They were unarmed.
I guess there is one other thing someone could've done, and I'm about 100% certain nobody did. When the cops ignored the reports from the 2 people (known so far) that they see a gunman, they could've bypassed all of it and simply called 911 and said they see a gunman on the roof near Trump. 911 would've been required to notify security at the rally. I'm certain they were on alert, as were the hospitals, ambulances, and surrounding police precincts. I guess nobody thought of that.
How do we know that was not done? Maybe 911 got a few or many calls but police did not respond
This is a very good point & I’m intensely curious to see if anyone called 911.
So just sit back, watch Trump get shot in front of your face?
IDK: and maybe I would have frozen too; but someone should have done SOMETHING more.
Trump literally - especially true after Saturday - puts his life on the line for us - we can’t do the same? We’ll just shrug our shoulders & say “but it’s dangerous! I could get hurt!!”
is that the answer?
Why don't you tell me what you would have done? More than likely, nothing when there were police and SS agents around.
Not sure what you're trying to accomplish with these questions?
Yes, we all know how much POTUS Trump gives to the people and what he endures to run for office and people show their appreciation by supporting him, showing up to his events, making donations and will more than likely come out in huge numbers to vote for him, again as they did the previous 2 times.
While I can agree with some of what you've said here, I think painting the entire group of rally-goers with a broad brush of disdain is an overreaction. I'd guess that 99% of them had no idea whatsoever that there was a threat nearby until the shots rang out. As OP states, the behavior of the crowd at that point and afterwards was largely commendable. I do, however, agree that the bizarre video-taking reaction so many in our culture have devolved into does not seem healthy nor well-intentioned. It would, in fact, be a topic worthy of discussion in a more even-tempered, less caustic and accusatory tone. Just mho.
As far as those who actually did see the guy up on the roof with the rifle, I agree that they should have been heading to the main area and yelling "GUN!!!" to everyone and their cousin and telling them to spread it into the crowd and over to the security, keep yelling if they still allowed POTUS to get on stage.
There really aren't attendees near enough to POTUS while he's on stage (for his own safety) to be able to do anything to help protect him once the shooting began. It took perhaps a second or two for POTUS to realize what was happening and get down on the ground, another second or two for the SS to pile on top of him and so any spectators getting in the way would have been counterproductive.
There is blame to be had, but I don't think a blanket disparagement of the entire group there is warranted. I know this is upsetting, friend, and there's much in our culture's degradation that has contributed to the lack of action, but these are topics that can and should be discussed, IMHO, in a more thoughtful way.
Yes you are right & I will add a note to my post later to say this. I was extremely upset when I wrote this, as I know we all are. I’m sure we all feel the same.
It’s just so damn fucking frustrating. I hope everyone involved takes a long, hard look at themselves & their actions after all this.
People did. No one knows what they will do, but I am 100 percent on board with the notion of people running towards the guy with the gun. That would be awesome and it is a dream. The reverse however where we think people automatically panic and run away as we see in movies and cities like Chicago is far fetched to.
If someone yells fire in a movie theatre (these days no one is in the movies) I still don’t believe people would run and stampede.
When 9/11 happened (regardless of why) we seen many calm people. We even seen calm people jumping off of the building because they refused to go out burning. They chose jumping.
Will people stampede. Yes and that is why we should stay away from leftists mostly peaceful protests.
