As much as it sucks right now. Everyone in NC better vote for Republican Governor Mark Robinson and do early voting so it will be difficult to rig. Cooper got rigged in.

I saw a video of a group of fellows who repair bridges for a living. They are going around and doing temporary bridges to homes cut off since the flood. They are doing this on their own dime. So far they’ve done more than forty!
Governor Cooper is vying for a Club Gitmo vacation.
Gitmo will be kinda like an airport for these ppl as they reach their final destinations in the pits of hell.

Funding should be donated directly to organizations that do provide lifesaving assistance in times of crisis. There should be a public “report card” for those agencies so that you can make informed donations that align with your values.

Appreciate the knowledge, but please do not try to take their handouts. You are fortunate to not have received it. Currently, there is no such thing as a free meal. A number of us feel that the most severe destruction up in those mountains was caused by dams breaking or otherwise being opened up.
Rising floodwaters from even hurricane rains do not have the blasting destructive force to wipe whole towns off the map and drive shattered pieces of buildings into a lake far below.
That takes a tsunami-like storm surge on the coasts or, if you're in the mountains, a huge sudden blow from a wall of water coming down from a broken, overtopped, or suddenly opened-up dam.
What is your opinion, since you are actually there?
Our family prayers are still with you guys out there. I am so sorry that those given the responsibility to help, have instead corrupted the government programs. I am so grateful multiple private & religious groups are on the ground actually helping as best as they can.

I know the lose of life is worse that they're saying and I'm so worried about those remaining. They will need mental health help and soon! Suffering from survivor guilt, PTSD, anger, sorrow and more. They need out prayers daily...💔🙏
Some how those folks need to get as accurate a death count as possible, there will another election in 2 years. this period will likely be the major topic at that time and a accurate account can be used effectively to root out the f----s who did nothing or just stood by in the state as the tragedy occurred

We once had a neighborhood where we were all friends but were forced out because the government had other plans for the area. They allowed us to burn and wouldn't let us build back. We won a court case but they didn't comply, but by then we were out of money. Money wins, but don't let them take the guns. I believe we never had any use for FEMA or DHS, and they were created for nefarious reasons, but that's my belief. In our case, charities and churches helped more than the government. Here in the Sierras, there is still gold in the ground, and the properties that we own extend down to 100 feet beneath the surface.
May the victims in WNC find strength and comfort.
I think we need property rights like that that go down 100 feet. No more trafficking tunnels. When the government is reduced to a small fraction of what it is now, I do believe that they will give away all that stolen land

As a Floridian we all know all too well about FEMA..some never received assistance from tropical storm Debbie. Good luck obtaining assistance from Hurricanes Ian, Idalia, Helene and MIlton.
