If certain things can't be pardoned by a good POTUS then lawfare like we've seen against Trump will be used against all political enemies. Corrupt Federal prosecutors will charge (or even threaten to charge) enemies with a pedo crime or treason/sedition and corrupt judges and juries will push it through. A corrupt SCOTUS will refuse to hear the case on appeal and that person is screwed - even if they didn't do anything they were charged with.
Someone needs to be able to correct the injustice. We will see some of that in late January - remember someone got sedition charges for J6.
