While I don't think I've commented on this before, I actually almost prefer if an anon other than the OP provides the sauce. I say this because, while going back in my saved posts to review a topic and/or post, if the OP has deleted their account I can still access the comments, but won't have the complete picture unless someone else has provided a link to the source (like an archive link or like what I've done here). Imagine a "Must see this great video of XYZ!" post and you go back to view it only to find out it's gone. It's just a failsafe as the probability that both the OP and the link provider would have deleted their accounts is much lower. If someone cites an article or video I always like to go directly to the source (and several other sources on the topic as well, for that matter).
