If I was a real astronaut, I'd be mad they keep calling these bimbos "astronauts". Just rich celebrities paying $$$ to hitch a ride to the upper atmosphere (NOT even in space).

Not a ballistic missile (point-to-point trajectory). A rocket elevator to high altitude, just up and down. And you haven't ridden one, either. One of them is a woman astronaut from prior life. I don't understand the disparagement, unless it is a cover for envy. It's a better amusement park ride than anything you can afford, and nobody is making any more out of it than that.
Somehow they tried to spin it as female empowerment and future for women in space.

Over 100 km altitude IS "space" by international scientific definition. Damn little atmosphere at that altitude. (It slowly fades away with altitude.) It is interesting how you play the "sour grapes" lament, calling them names and disparaging their ability to pay for the ride. Space Shuttle mission specialists were also passengers, but they legitimately earned the status of "astronaut."
They ain't "astronauts", they are passengers and/or tourists.

Untrue. The international convention for the line between atmosphere and space is the "Von Karman Line" at 100 km altitude. That is where aerodynamic lift forces are equal to orbital centrifugal forces at the same velocity. Pilots of the X-15 earned astronaut status for their high-altitude flights. Yuri Gagarin was only a passenger.
So that means ~62 miles is where space begins and therefore, they did not reach space.
Oh, they got there. All you need to do is get over the wire. It is all a very gradual matter. Satellites will orbit at 100 km altitude, but not for long. Bezos would not go to the trouble of developing a system that could not satisfy international standards of where "space" begins.

Already thought this logo looked creepy before flipping it upside down with all the faces and weird grim reaper looking rocket but ya upside down is worse. Also, this “mission” was a disappointment … was really hoping they’d stay up there.

Astronaut/Cosmonaut is a profession, these people are not part of that profession they are passengers. If I fly on a plane that does not make me a pilot.
And their flights did not make them pilots, either. But when you are on an airplane, you are an air traveler. That is all that "astronaut" meant, but it was framed in a time when the only way you could be a space traveler was to be a pilot. Be prepared for the commonization of "astronaut" as being a space traveler.
Yes, most of Gagarin's flight was automated, but he could and did take manual control at one point. He was a 1st class military pilot with cosmonaut training. During Gagarin's reentry phase, the equipment module failed to fully separate, causing the spacecraft to spin. His ability to maintain consciousness and stabilize the descent, despite experiencing 8 Gs of force, was attributed to his experience as a fighter pilot. 2 of the 5 women "astronauts" on the Blue Origin spaceflight are actual scientists and although the definition of astronaut is somewhat ambiguous, I would not classify Jeff Bezo's fiancé, a pop singer, and a TV co-host as astronauts. They have no space flight training and could be of no use or help in any aspect of the flight. I think they would be better classified as "Spaceflight Participants".
Good for Gagarin. It has been the practice to consider anyone who has traveled into space, by whatever means, to be considered an "astronaut." There is nothing wrong with that. It is still more exclusive than being an aeronaut. Traveling by air is now so common, we do not use the word "aeronaut."

Have mentioned the tv show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D before and anyone that has seen it will in this case see a direct connection......(I mean the exact same thing is in the show, logo symbolism with covert meaning hidden in plain sight, even the upside down of the logo....)
That show is saturated with various truths and 'soft disclosures', more so than pretty much any other show beyond simpsons and Stargate SG1.

Very much recommended viewing, lots of good stuff in it, they(DS) tried to toxic up last season(also some fairly obvious stuff in second to last one but setting kinda ads an obvious and ridiculous vibe to it) but aside from a few overt barbs didn't really succeed(also one scene in the ghost-rider season that is so obvious and that stands out so badly that it causes an instant WTF reaction).
Easier to spot truths in this series than in SG1 and SG1 is loaded with them(just a bit too out there for the average person to digest) Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is more 'down to earth' by comparison so hits a different audience.........
