This is absolutely the way. Been saying for years, You want the illegals to clear out? Just PAY them a fraction of what it costs to aggressively capture and incarcerate them...but still more than enough to make it irresistible to them to GTFO

Firstly, cut off any income via govt checks and medicaid and, for employers, mandate e-verify with severe penalties for non-compliance. Let that stew for a couple of months and see how things start moving.

I say fill up cruise ships and sail them away, constantly. Ships hold more then planes . It would save us in the long run . Sadly they will not go . Would you ???? Seriously would you ? I believe he is giving them the easy way out before he HAS to do what needs to be done. They will be dumb to not take up his offer at some point, he knows just how pissed off the populous is, and how much has been pillaged because of it.

This offer will save us money. Many will self-deport for a free trip home and a chance to come back. Trump will eventually deport those who don't go willingly.
Yes, he has a ton of resistance right now. But as things improve due to his policies, as establishment politicians are exposed as crooks, as they lose their stolen funds and control of the media and their rent-a-mobs, they will lose their manufactured support.
Trump said he'd deport and the American people support it. They're warming up with the criminals, but they will eventually deport the run-of-the-mill illegals. Those who went willingly will have a chance to apply to get back in.
