If he was arrested by the FBI in March, why would they wait a full month before unsealing his indictment?
He may have been given a chance to cooperate (wear the boot), but he declined the offer.
Sealed indictments may be for several criminals. They are then arrested over a period of time. The indictment isn’t unsealed immediately because it would alert co-defendants about their upcoming arrests.
It might be plan timing.
