They don't WANT to know any of that. Because if they did, they might feel obligated to do something about it. Which would upend their comfy lives of ignorance even more.
So they scream and scream and scream and resist to the very best of their abilities and insist that none of it is true. TDS is exactly like that scene of Neo waking up from the Matrix, violently thrashing and struggling, except he had the courage to stay awake. Most of these people just want to go back to sleep and stay that way.
And I wonder if maybe we shouldn't find some way to let them. They will never, ever accept the truth of their world and it really is a waste of time to try to make them accept it.

There are definitely those who, no matter what you try, will never wake up.
It is important to recognize that this is only a small subset of the population. There are still a great many on the brink of awakening that can be reached.
Use discernment. You may or may not encounter members of the 4-6%. It is always worth attempting an awakening before moving on and focusing your finite energy elsewhere.

I will not give up hope for those I love. Some days I think they are finally starting to come around, but more slowly than I can bear.
