Trump's focus is on fixing the economy. It's a bigger problem. He's letting Witcoff and Rubio handle Ukraine and it's to his detriment. However, we have a very narrow window to get the 2017 Trump tax cuts made permanent and a whole bunch of other pro-growth policies put into place.
Some really critical context:
Trump is trying to save America. The biggest threat isn't Russia or Israel. Both are issues, but secondary to the debt and demographic bombs that are absolutely wasting our country away like cancer. They just keep growing and growing and spreading until they consume all of the wealth and productive capacity and nothing is left but poverty and death. $36 trillion is debt is killer. We spend more annually paying just the interest than we do on the entire Dept of Defense. We don't pay the principle at all. The Bond market is dead. No one buys 30 year treasuries anymore. The interest rates are negligible and no one has any faith our dollar will still have any value at the end of it when it pays out. The interest rates on the 10 year bond are approaching 5%. We're paying an additional 5% to borrow with the promise of paying back in 10 years. Few are buying. Japan just sold what it was carrying. China is now the largest holder outside of American hedgefunds and corporations. Moody's just dropped our credit rating from AAA to A1A. They don't think we can pay. We're too leveraged to borrow more.
If other countries do this, they can count on bigger countries like the US or institutions like the IMF to come in and bail them out. We can't. Our debt's too big. If the dollar collapses, the Western economy collapses. We ALL lose.
And the Congresscritters won't cut. They won't stop spending.
Trump's solution is to grow our way out of it. Countries that try austerity go into long-term stagnation or depression. So we have to grow which is why Trump's on a charm offensive all over the world cajoling, begging, pleading, or even arm-twisting to get companies to reshore operations in America. We've got to grow and do it for a long, long time. Trump's playing the long game. Growth is critical. War is fine. We make and sell 75% of the world's arms. Trump will allow Ukraine to implode if he can't stop it. He'll let Israel do the same. But we MUST fix the economy and start having babies.
He's letting his lieutenants handle the other issues, but the economy is Trump's #1 issue. That's why he's going to war with Massie and Rand Paul. They're playing games worrying about small potatoes, missing the big picture strategy, and threatening to wipe out Trump's one last shot to fix this broken country. That's why Trump's pissed. If you asked him, he'd probably agree with both men that more cuts are needed. He just can't get it done politically. The Congresscritters won't cut, so he has to make an end-run around Congress. Massie and Paul are blocking it.
Most excellent, Anon. I see Trump's play with Bitcoin and Treasury stable coins in the same light -- the approach is not pure enough for many, but it will dig us (and the worlds) out of the hole we find ourselves in.
Ya know, it'll b hard to get the economy going if we don't have an economy to grow thanks to nitwits like Liddle Marco, Lindsey, Kansas, and Da Nang Dick.
Rand Paul is a Patriot and his heart and intellect are in the right place as he reasonably discerns it. He does have practical and constructive ideas -- such to stop endless deficit spending. I believe in Trump, I am grateful for Rand Paul too.
They tried to kill him! [the neighbor attack left him with permanent injuries.]
Paul's principles are correct. They're also politically unviable. They can't pass through Congress. Too corrupt.
Trump's solution is to outgrow the problem and give We the People more time to vote out the problem children. He's making an end-run around Congress by starving the IRS, de-regulating and begging any company he can to build in the US. He's going to juice the economy because it's the only feasible way in the long-term to handle the debt. 1-2% annual growth is a death sentence. The debt grows faster. Paul's sitting here whining about drops in the bucket instead of seeing the larger picture: the giant hole in the bottom of it. Either we get a much bigger bucket and fill it while we're trying to patch the hole, or it'll be empty.
Paul's in the way right now. Right principles, but a total absence of necessary pragmatism.
Yep. It is juvenile to pretend he's just a liar saying stuff to trick people lol. It is American af to disagree with politicians. I know for follower types it can be hard.
They can fight about spending forever; it's making the tax cuts permanent that's important. All growth is going to be restrained until investors know what to expect.
I do not think it is desperation but a calculated move. Growth is important to give back momentum to the main street economy as many people are living paycheck to paycheck due to cost of living crisis.
The stock market is not a good indicator where main street is at currently which is kind of the disconnect happening right now.
What do all 3 have in common? They're spending cuts hardliners. They're demanding a position that'll never pass through Congress. They can demand all they want, but it's just a show if they can't move policy. Trump's trying to move policy by making compromises. These 3 are all refusing to get on board with the pivot. They're scuttling Trump's agenda for a virtue signal.
Gov't spending will NEVER go down without outside force. The polite way is passing a mandatory Balanced Budget amendment. There's no way the politicians will tie their own hands, so the only way left is a Constitutional Convention. I won't hold my breath on that one.
In the absence of politeness, we are left with 'my vote is No'.
Frankly, at this point, if Congress goes into permanent gridlock for the next two years, that would come out in the wash as an improvement.
Our economy is the best in the world, by far. Lowest unemployment ever within almost all categories. Poised for big growth after trade deals are completed. Import prices down, China eating Tariffs. Helping targeted Farmers from big Tariff money coming in. Great future for USA!
Edit: BIG growth was the first tweet, but GROWTH was also in the second, so still works.
Now on 8/23/2020 he tweeted about productivity growth, but that doesn’t seem like as solid of a match: https://qagg.news/?read=P51700
Well, some decodes we know because they are revelavent to current events and other devices are educated guesses...some maybe misinformation due to Art of War...
Yeah, I’ve just never been able to tell if there are operative commands encoded in them that we aren’t seeing (a good thing, if so), or if they just tie back to past posts to let us know that the operation is still moving along, or maybe even if they’re intended to distract us so our better researchers don’t notice other things involved in some of the more public sleights of hand.
The ones that make a claim then get proven are one thing, as those are clearly to us. The breadcrumbs for research are another thing as they’re good to point us at issues. The other more seeming-comm type messages though …. (Which would be this one)
The "One Big Beautiful Bill" is a sweeping tax and spending bill that includes provisions like permanent extensions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, increased defense spending, and cuts to social programs like SNAP and Medicaid. It also includes provisions aimed at border security, such as funding for a border wall and increased funding for Border Patrol and ICE. Additionally, the bill includes provisions related to work requirements for some social programs, changes to certain tax credits, and streamlining of permitting processes for construction.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of some key elements:
Tax Provisions:
Permanent Extension of TCJA:
The bill extends the major provisions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including lower individual and corporate tax rates, and increased standard deduction.
Increased SALT Deduction:
The bill increases the limit on the deduction for state and local taxes (SALT) from $10,000 to $40,000.
Changes to International Tax Rules:
The bill extends the international tax regime, including GILTI, FDII, and BEAT, but on slightly less generous terms.
Tax Credits and Deductions:
The bill includes provisions that could impact the availability or value of certain tax credits and deductions.
Spending Provisions:
Increased Defense Spending: The bill includes an additional $150 billion for defense spending.
Reductions in Social Programs: The bill includes provisions that could significantly reduce spending on programs like SNAP and Medicaid by implementing stricter eligibility requirements and work requirements.
Work Requirements for Social Programs: The bill includes provisions that would impose work requirements for some individuals receiving certain social benefits.
Other Provisions:
Border Security: The bill includes provisions to fund President Trump's border wall, increase Border Patrol and ICE personnel, and boost border security.
Permitting Streamlining: The bill includes provisions to streamline permitting processes for construction projects.
State AI Legislation Moratorium: The bill includes a 10-year moratorium on state AI legislation.
I'm with Rand on this one. Too much bs and pork. Politics as usual.
I wanted Trump to come in slahing big government with a machete instead it is a steady decline as usual.
Disappointed
Call out Rand but let Lindsey go stir the pot in Ukraine?

good explanation
Trump disagrees with you
And I disagree with him. We're allowed to do that from time to time.
Rand's old man was known as Dr. No. I'm glad some of Ron's lessons took.
Yep. It is juvenile to pretend he's just a liar saying stuff to trick people lol. It is American af to disagree with politicians. I know for follower types it can be hard.
What trump says isn't 100% accurate 100% of the time...
Disinfo is necessary
maybe . . .

You guys would sell this entire country down the river if it meant you could suck rand pauls dick for just a little while longer.
Now Elon is calling out this pork-bill. Hmm.

Build back better?
Brings back bad memories, of the Potato years where an actor pretended to play president and the evil people around him did damage to our country
I thought we wanted to cut spending and get rid of enormous bills that people can't read before they vote?
They can fight about spending forever; it's making the tax cuts permanent that's important. All growth is going to be restrained until investors know what to expect.
There has to be a wildcard hidden in this bill. No way Trump is this jazzed about BBB unless there is something coming.
I do not think it is desperation but a calculated move. Growth is important to give back momentum to the main street economy as many people are living paycheck to paycheck due to cost of living crisis.
The stock market is not a good indicator where main street is at currently which is kind of the disconnect happening right now.
Rand is asshoe.
Just like no name.
What? First Massie, now Paul? Tmrw it'll be Ron.
What do all 3 have in common? They're spending cuts hardliners. They're demanding a position that'll never pass through Congress. But how is more debt the agenda? Isn't the whole point of the last 9 years to end the debt?
I stand with Trump.
I also stand with Rand.

Well done AE! 👏
Thanks! This is only maybe the second time I’ve felt like I saw one.
The thing that’s always bugged me about decodes is “ok so there’s a match, but what does that mean?”

Build Back Better Bill? I am not seeing this whole thing clearly enough.
Big Beautiful Bill...
Has someone done an analysis of what’s in this bill that is getting so much flack?

Thank you. What is this 10 year limitation on AI that the States must follow?

bbb = 666?
Trump better be trolling! BBB-bbb-666!
I have to ask? What is this really about? Distraction?
Guess we'll have to wait and see Angel...
This is why people like you don't run the country. Thank you for demonstrating clearly your command of economics.
Somewhat agree. I don’t care if we are the number 1 economy in the world if we keep importing brown people making housing more and more expensive.
How about you lead by example?
The earth will be much better off without TROLLS!!!
(f86saber) was here, but not anymore...KEK
