Got up today to see a lot of Reeeeeeeeing out there in social media land. News Flash! Breaking! DOJ/FBI 'officially' declare there is no Epstein List!!!!
TLDR: Before even reacting to this 'Breaking News!", One's first step should be asking: Is this even real? How do I know?
You'll probably find a few stickied posts on this. One (not stickied any more) was a Posted Tweet that said "BREAKING: DOJ and FBI have concluded that Jeffery Epstein had no "client list," and committed suicide, per Axios"
Another, currently stickied, links to a 15 minute video by Benny Johnson, headed "BREAKING: Feds Officially Release Jeffery Epstein Tapes, Docs and Memo"
I'm not a particular fan of Johnson, and I admit, I don't really know his stuff and I am rather prejudiced against people out there that I consider to be "inflooencers". All I have are impressions gleaned from some regular markings one sees common to a lot of inflooencers these days on our side of the trench:
Sensationalist headlines, gaudy images designed to inspire reaction, and a certain approach to sharing information that tends to be less than objective or reasoned, and more about selling a narrative, or clicks.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgpahvOQD9c
Anyway, this post is not intended as a critique of Benny Johnson per se. Rather, I think his video is a good spring board for considering this current Breaking News! (the Axios Article/Memo) and how people are or are not responding to it.
But before moving on, I will say that, from a body language perspective, the level of blinking activity that Johnson is engaged in during his opening spiel suggests he knows he's talking some sort of bullshite (whether his information is not real, or he is making assertions that he knows to be false, etc) but is pushing through it anyway... The blinking is a way for the body to counteract and suppress the impulses from the body that more naturally want to reveal that "I'm really talking crap here".
Also, as I began to listen to Johnson, I simply thought "This guy's entire career and fame/income relies on the existence of the Deep State Cabal". Make of that what you will.
I have no qualms at all about folks who research or share information making a living out of it. BUT, some people do this with integrity, their main focus is to empower you to think for yourself and NOT simply get sucked into the Next Big Thing, and others seem to be far more focused on gathering followers, getting clicks, and gaining inflooence (which translates in to fame and fortune).
So, while being critical of Johnson, let's put aside who or what he's really about. Discuss that on another day. But I do want to take a moment to look at how he is responding, consciously or not, to this.
Johnson's Reaction/Response to the 'Information' (Axios Article)
The video includes reading 'the memo', and said "I would read this on the FBI website, but its entirely crashed right now."
But is there an actual 'memo' on the FBI website? The 'memo' itself does not provide this. The ONLY copy or presence of this memo comes through the 'Exclusive" article by Alex Isenstadt on Axios.
Here's the actual address, currently crashed due to too many requests...
https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/25991994-final-draft-e/
You can find this address in the html coding for the Axios article published on the Axios website.
So its not even on the FBI 'website'. That's pretty lazy investigation by Johnson (and hi staff).
As Johnson reads through the memo, he comments.
"I can't believe what I'm reading...." Yeah. So think about this. I'll come back to it.
At the end, this is Benny Johnson's conclusion: "this is a cover up". "This is now the official line".
But did you catch it? What's completely wrong with this picture? Even admitting he cannot believe what he's reading, Johnson fails to even question: is it real?
Instead, he is ALL about the reaction, ALL about the reactivity. If you cannot believe it, then WHY are you engaging with it as if it is real, instead of questioning the source of the article, the nature of the 'memo'?
Where does this come from? Is it real? How Do I know?
BEFORE reacting in any way, and going down all those paths of Rrrreeeeeeeeeee!!!ing, or reacting, the first step should be
Where does this come from? Is it real? How Do I know? This goes for things we read here at GAW too. Anywhere, really. Always consider sauce.
ALL the Best Dishes Come with SAUCE
Let's look at the source.
Organization: Axios
Leftist, Centrist or Rightist?
Author: Alex Isenstadt
Here are some facts I found (unconfirmed)
Formerly National Political reporter at Politico. 8 years.
Graduated Haverford College in 2007, degree in political science.
Brief stint with Joe Biden's 2008 presidential campaign.
Has appeared as a guest on Major Networks such as CNN, Fox News, MSNBC.
First published Book: (2025) Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power (2025)
https://muckrack.com/politicoalex
As seen in Axios, HuffPost, MSN (US), MSN Canada, The Washington Post, Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, Die Welt, Pew Research Center, POLITICO, So What?, Substack, Vanity Fair, Flipboard, POLITICO Europe, Yahoo, RealClear Politics, Hachette Book Group (HBG), Las Vegas Sun, NewsBreak, POLITICO Pro, GOVERNING
The 'Memo'
Two Logos, No name, No Addressee (target audience), No authorizing person, no date.
Is it even real? Before accepting this as a real memo, we should ask, who wrote it? Who issued it? For who? (aka a 'press release' is something that will be targeted to the press)
If this IS in fact a memo, who is it for? And how did Mr. Isenstadt 'obtain' it?
Was it leaked? And if so, who would do that? Why?
Considering whose side of the narrative war Mr. Isenstadt appears to be on, why on earth should we just take his assertions at face value. I mean, at least he didn't use the 'anonymous sources at FBI/DOJ', but in reality, its all anonymous anyway, right?
Always Ask This First
In the midst of information war, narrative war, before reacting to anything, our first port of call should ALWAYS be, is this credible? Is this a credible source? Is it real? How did it arrive on MY screen (computer, phone, newspaper, TV)?
I just found it really interdasting that Mr. Benny Johnson, before even questioning if the memo is real or who the person sharing this information is, went off on a rant about how its a coverup, how it makes no sense, etc.
The Structure of the Memo
What's curious is that the memo draws on a lot of established, publicly available information but also injects a core assertion (narrative deployment?):
"This systematic review revealed no incriminating Client List. There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions...."
It's a common tactic for disinformation to be nestled in among valid or legitimate pieces of information. The legitimate or real information then provides a sense of reliability to the overall report.
The 'memo' also uses 'we' a lot, but there are no signatories or persons whose name is on this. That seems strange to me, personally.
But whether it is real or fake, the first thing to do is to ask. Question. Don't simply reaction. Reaction is what psyops are all about, good or bad.
Potential Impact
And, would the DOJ and FBI leak an 'official' memo or notification to a leftist journalist for release?
One thing to consider is, what impact this ARTICLE from a leftist Journalist and a 'supposed' (aka unverified, confirmed, unofficial 'memo') is having now and moving forward.
One, If DOJ and FBI, aka Kash, Bondi, etc, are actually working through the Epstein situation, this puts incredible pressure on them, and could very well form a MAJOR disruption to what they want to accomplish.
Two, the Black Pill Pharmacy just got millions of more customers. Ragebait much?
Three, a powerful and well-tried tactic of the Cabal and DS is "look here, don't look there!" So, could this extremely dodgy story be actually designed to redirect everyone's attention when something else is being done?
Suggestion
Leave the reeeees! to the brainwashed lefties. Def: 72 hour rule, probably a 7 day rule would be very good for this stuff. imo. Either way, always start out from this point: Is this real? Am I being targeted? What are my biases? Are they being exploited?
Addendum (5 hours later) I suspect the Narrative is hacing the desired effect. The swarms of now "anti-trump, Trump is corrupt, Trump serves the Jews, Bondi/Kash/Bongino are corrupt" shills and doomers and naysayers are flocking around on X.
Watch how your favorite influencer handles this. Reason? Logic? Or do they now dump Trump? This is how you really tell their worth.
Yea the no signature etc on the memo thing has me thinking it's either just fake garbage or Psyop to drum up anger about what we know is true
Wouldn't FBI come out and say "this is fake"
Also the video link at the end of the memo, did that video exist on the justice.gov website before?
FBI has confirmed it.
Literally everyone has now
I took the stickied one/s down. Axios is FOS as far as I can tell.
The memo is indeed hosted (unlisted) on the justice.gov website:
https://www.justice.gov/opa/media/1407001/dl?inline
I still think that some employee uploaded it there after fabricating it however.
Huh. How did you find this? Was this the link in the article? (looks like I missed it)
The link wasn't in the article, it was (and still is) unlisted in the same directory as the Epstein jail footage.
I just explored the directory outside of a browser (I won't get into the technicals)
The real question is how did Axios find it unless someone sent it to them.
This is pretty odd.
Oh, thanks
(Whew!) I thought maybe I totally missed this. I'm tempted to go back and double check, but in the html coding of the web Axios article, I found the link to the documentcloud place.
And if so, then yes, why did he (alex) not have this link in the first place.
In hindsight, it looks like either the good guys (for some reason I presently cannot understand or fathom) fed the memo to him, or 'fed' it to a mole who then fed it to him, or otherwise the scumbag quadrant just fed it to him for their own reasons.
Sather posited that it may be possible that the memo is indeed fake (aka not actually officially drafted by DOJ/FBI, but that once it got out there, they decided to go with that narrative, ala moves and countermoves. I mean, its possible.
But so far, what's going on here is anyone's guess.
One thing I'm not doing is dooming out on this. So sorry to see the DTI soaring so much in the last 24/48 hours.
(*DTI: Doomer Take Index)
I think this is highly likely and has been my thoughts from the start
But it's still there. Along with two 11 hour video files that haven't been seen before.
Click the damn link before you ask
No, my point is, it IS still there, along with the videos it links too. Seems like something they would quickly take down if it weren't a real OPA memo.
Website and server hosted file changes can take time.
A phone call turns into an email that is then turned into another email then to a work order and so on.
If it was done without permission they also need to preserve the data integrity and digital fingerprints to determine who put it up there.
The government isn't exactly nimble with stuff like this.
The fact that both files were completely unlisted yet somehow axios received them is very very damning.
I'm going by the standard 72-hour rule to see how this plays out
Not when you have a CMS like the DOJ does. They are hosted the same place other files from other offices in the DOJ. This one is from the OPA or Office of Public Affairs, hence the /opa/ in the url. If this was a crazy leak, it'd be removed immediately, like with a simple 'unpublish' button in the CMS. Same with 2 11 hour long videos.
Leavitt has already confirmed it, are you saying she's referring to another memo we haven't seen?
Yes
This is a good analysis. It is interesting that it isn't posted on the FBI site, it came from a left wing journo, and it was posted on a Sunday. No signature on the memo is another tell.
There is some fuckery afoot. I'm hoping this is disinfo by the white hats to throw off the bad actors so they don't flee. That arrests are actually coming this week. We were told we needed more popcorn this week.
Yeah, you very simply list some obvious questionable points.
As to whether we're headed into arrest time, I really don't know.

Interesting, thank you for the link.
So, would Kash find them and prosecute them?
Why? He's underneath Bondi
Lucky him.
No argument there. Like the Theranos CEO couple but with government and stuff.
It's a shit post. Fake. Bullshit.
And yet, look how many people are reacting to it.
It is almost like many have learned nothing and will continue to learn nothing about how to guard themselves against psyops and Deep State BS.
At this point, I am muting or blocking people who are going REEEE mindlessly to this news. I bet a lot of them just mindlessly post memes and repost other people's content for clicks and attention, so it is no big loss.
The mods should do a side project, go though all the accounts to determine who is actually based, make a blank clone of this site called greatawake.win and invite them all to it and then no new accounts. We could then actually just focus on high quality stuff without the retards getting in the way.
Yes, create a smaller and more censored site. That would definitely help. Maybe call it greatawakeningcirclejerk.win
I never said more censored. It would actually be less censored. Since only based people would be posting the rules could be relaxed. Would be smaller but there would be zero shills or retards so everyone on the site would have super high moral.

Benny Johnson is largely another clickbait artist who extends 3 minute videos into 10+ for extra engagement and ad time. He finds a way to ramble and repeat himself without ever really saying anything definitely.
Regardless, the real point is that there are thousands like him doing exactly the same thing. It's astonishing how many supposedly Maga and Truth seekers on social media are not even questioning this supposed 'memo'.
Exactly
Benny did question it.
I had already unsubscribed to him. My spidey senses were triggered.
His videos he hosts on X always have clickbait titles.
Yeah that’s my main issue. Plus his Tucker Carlson impression is annoying and lame.
Yeah he's kind of a dork. But he seems nice.
Haha sure. Tell me more about how you’re illiterate.
This interaction was your idea.
If you can’t understand that my point was pretty simple and clear (Benny Johnson is a grifter, FractalizingIron is correct to look closer at sources and what is being said), and then decided you had to come at me personally instead of a good faith exchange, then you’re deeply confused about what you’re going to get out of this. Have a nice day, hypocrite.
Your analogy sucks, but I guess fantasizing about how I toss salad was your main concern. Also your last sentence is another perfect example of your projection and hypocrisy issues. Just let it go kid, you’re not very good at this.
I’d expect an official response from Bondi or Patel today. Is it real or BS?
If you were to find the Epstein list, would you:
Both, but probably not at the same time.
All I had to see was that it was "released" on a Sunday night at the end of a holiday weekend by Axios with a link to documentcloud. Not credible (imo)! The doomers were out in force over on patriots.win, acting like it was legit. Onto the next psyop.

This whole kerfuffle gives me a look here, not there vibe.

Are they trying to flush out more FBI AND DOJ? Look at the PDiddy Comey mess. Was the jury tampered with? Remember Maureen Comey and her father, James Comey were involved with all 3 cases - Epstein, Maxwell and P Diddy Combs.P Diddy also took video of elites and yet no names were dropped? No johns no janes? Yet he knew all of the very same people. Obama Clinton, Ophra,…pick one. Is it all theatrics? Very likely.
There's no jury here. Just Bondi saying nothing to see
DOJ has verified this. The spin here is making me dizzy.
The press secretary confirmed and commented on it. So are you pretending that didn't happen?
This was a recent development. My post was made 23 hours ago, long before this development.
Either way, the principle still stands, imo. First order of things in the information war is to ask : where did this come from, what are the sources, is this real, fake or disinformation.
Based on that, then you move forward.

Is this post Real???
Is it very long winded???
Does it feel like you are having to read an entire Novel just to get two or three little points out of it???
Did you already suspect the existence of those points???
So what's the use of this specific Post???
Yes, and the Poster loves to hear himself talk....
kek
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
See u/KathrynMarie 's comment above. (This is an excerpt)
Yup....
I actually enjoy posting questions more than answers....
Questions are short, answers on the other....
No one in the history of western civilization ever accused me of being 'overly brief'.
AHA, I knew you held a High Ranking Officers Position in the Army, so tell me, is being Long Winded in front of the Troops taught in like Generals School, or does it just come Naturally and that's why Generals become Generals???
Some are born to long-windedness, others achieve long-windedness through years of toil, while others have long-windedness thrust upon them.
That should be put on a ten Foot Tall Plaque, and placed in front of Every Military Post, Fort, Base, Compound, and Military Academy....
Next to the names of the top 20 Officers.....
kek
i wanna hear it straight from Bondi or Patel, period. The rest is noise marketing.. maybe by saying there is no list - rumor - it makes everyone pays attention, enrages people, and then later they flip the script on the public.. reverse psychology
I think the reeeing is what they want, when enough people demand it they’ll release it.
This is what Flynn has been saying... that we need to get loud
I rarely read a long post here ... it messes with my innate, show me how to do it and I can do it: expect me to read instructions and my eyes and brain go googly. But I am glad I took the time to read this one. It was good instruction for me because even after 5+ years, I am tempted to believe everything. We weren't taught to question things, we were conditioned to accept, believe and comply. 70 years of brainwashing takes a concerted effort to overcome. I at least had some of the questions like the date and a signature. Thank you for the info as well as the wise instructions on how to question and research for authenticity!!
Memo on the DOJ website. https://www.justice.gov/opa/media/1407001/dl?inline
Words have meaning. What if they don't have an actual list? What if they do have a schedule of flights with names of everyone who flew to the island? And the schedule of people who took the submarine. But they are calling it something else not a list. I would not call my calendar a list , even though it may show the date time and person I met with for years . Food for thought.
He’s blinking because he has a hard time coping with the coverup suggested by Axios. Furthermore, he expressed his suspicions about Axios being the source.
Benny has never done anything to make us suspicious of him. All he’s doing is covering a story. No need to doubt him until and unless he actually does something that he shouldn’t.
I cannot agree with that. It makes zero sense (and as far as I can see) has no foundation in the study of body language reading. People don't blink like that because they are having a hard time coping with distress or something.
Is that the point? For me, as far as I saw, he did NOT express any doubt that the FBI or DOJ is the actual source.
Sorry fren, but your generalization is not applicable, in my view. "make us suspicious of him" seems to suggest that you think everyone is on the same page about everything and that its the page that you yourself are on!!!
What I doubt is the depth of Johnson's integrity, motivation, and purpose. It doesn't make him a bad person, but it also means I'm going to reflect on and analysis what he's doing and what he's saying based on that.
And, I'm not saying he's a bad person (as far as I know). But the world is made up of billions of people and there are all shades and all types of humans, from the saintly down to the demonic.
I personally do not feel like Benny's intentions are as aligned with my own as I would like.
But sorry, not trying to be an a*hole. I appreciate it if you feel like you get something from his work. That's a good thing, I suppose.
Make them all think they're safe. Make them think we have nothing, make them think their still in charge. Then kick in the door.
Anddddd yet 14 hours later here we are and we know the memo was real...
Or, it was fake and the Administration decided to go with it.
Either way, its still valid to make your first questions: what is the source, is this real, is this fake or is this disinformation? etc.
Question this first, then respond.
I'm only meaning on the level that it was actually on the justice department site. Because people were acting as if it was pure fabrication.
Since all body language and cognitive dissonance relies on clusters of behavior I wouldnt read too much into someone's blinking as the sole provider of your analysis for truth or tale. A great source for cognitive dissonance instruction is "stan the lie guy" I was sent to his training several times as well as other similar trainings and found the system to produce tremendous results as I was someone who had to do hundreds of interviews and interrogations. Does that make Benny not full of shit? Probably not, he has gotten pretty full-on himself and you can see his star struck behavior when ever he is around tje current crop of political celebrities.
Relying on body language like blinking as a sole basis for analysis is bonkers. But it's an element. (edit: clusters, yes exactly)
I may have read too much into it, but I don't think so. Perhaps my original statement is overly simplistic. What I think the excessive blinking here does indicate is some internal lack of integrity. It doesn't mean someone is necessarily lying. It most likely means that in some way, the person is being less than genuine in some manner, I think.
