It now has occurred to me that the 'list of 17 cities' may be ones where the FIFA world cup games will be held along with World's fair events and America's 250 year celebrations take place ... he may use those events as the precursor to 'cleaning' up those cities... I do believe that DC was the first test case to see how their deployments and local cooperation played out ... now onto the tougher cities, mayors, governors!
Good observation. Note that there are at least 1M Chinese military in the US right now. They appear to be predominantly in large Dem cities that have been targeted for "takeover". San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City appear to be the main ones, but Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, and Atlanta may be secondary "hideouts" of the Chinese agents.
Obviously FIFA cities and LA for Olympics are important as well, but LA is largely controlled by Sinaloa cartel, not CCP. SW US appears to be joint operation between Mexican cartels and CCP. There is some overlap between sporting event cities and those stealthily taken over and controlled by CCP and foreign agents right now.

Democrats, after the last 10 years of defending degenerates and criminals, are going to have to full on defend against Trump cracking down on crime. He's given just enough time for voters in Washington to see how peaceful the streets have become.

New York City is the world capital for stock exchange. Chicago is the world capital for derivatives exchange. If Trump is cracking down on crime, the exchanges will keep him plenty busy. Trump is going after their money next.

The robberies of your average citizen are usually done by the petty criminals. Do you expect the Deep State leadership to hold up John Q. Public on street corners? Cleaning them up will make a big difference to the average citizen.
Be grateful for small miracles. In an imperfect world, there will always be more evil to replace what is cleaned up -- but that doesn't mean you stop trying.
Once it's contained -- the authorities have to be diligent.
The little guy on the street appreciates the fact that with the petty criminals in check he might get to live his life in relative peace. That is something to celebrate. And thank God President Trump is taking steps to help the people that the politicians have long overlooked.
Until I see otherwise it's still the club that we are not part of.
