Yeah it's been happening here for me too. It's the site. I've tested it all around the world.
When i scraped the stickies yesterday it was about 4-5 times as long as normal. It could be anything, maybe ask in c/meta ?
On the bright side, the lightning still shows up blazing fast when you put your mouse over the logo at the top.

I don't know. I don't have any insight into the back-end of this site, but it seems to be a bit snappier now. Spoke too soon, it's still slow.
