Restarting nuclear weapons testing, building the Golden Dome to shoot incoming missiles out of US airspace, a whole new class of battleships and possibly more.
What does Trump know, and what is he planning on? I’ve said in the past that WWIII might be inevitable, but that Trump is changing what was supposed to be a war that America was supposed to lose, to one that we’d win.
Peace through strength is what he keeps saying. That means our military and all equipment needs to be the very best. That way nobody will dare mess with us so we won’t have to go to war. The evil people that have been trying to destroy us from within have intentionally let our equipment go to crap and we have very outdated equipment. This is a much needed upgrade.
It's more than that. We need to make the world safe for democracy. This is an unpopular opinion around here, but whether we like it or not, we are the world police. We have the privilege and duty to intervene and deal out punishment. No one around here complained with President Trump bombed ISIS or Iran. President Trump is showing the world that America is no longer run by pansy Democrats who flinch at the slightest suggestion of conflict. Venezuela is flooding the US with drugs, killing American citizens. They need to be brought to justice, and President Trump is the man to do it.
That is a lie.
We do not want Democracy. Democracy is mob rule. Gang rape is democracy, lynching is democracy. Socrates drinking hemlock was democracy.
We are a Republic, a nation governed by the rule of law.
Do not let the enemies of our republic chose the battlegrounds by dictating which words we use. Call out the lies at every opportunity.
ABSOLUTELY... Frens please know that words have power! We are a Republic.
Yes, we are a republic, but that is not what we spread and that is a key distinction. By erecting democracies, all we have to do to control a country is popular influence. If we went around creating republics, then it would be more difficult to control. I never said we are a democracy, I just said we need to make the world safe for democracy. That's what George Bush (Jr, not his traitorous father) was talking about. He had a really forward looking view.
There is a big difference between being the world's doormat, or the world's piggy bank, and being the world's police.
Which is why President Trump is so refreshing. He's willing to use force, boots on the ground if we have to. No more mister nice guy, no more allowing the enemy to hide in bunkers while they wait for the drones to run out of fuel and have to return. We storm in there and drag them out, just like we did with Saddam.
He is preparing us all to stop going to war, and good for him.
The world needs to decide where it wants to go....Trump already settled all of this for them and now they know our stance. A good way to look at is...Foock around with the LORD and find out.
Having the biggest and baddest military in the world makes aggressive nations think twice before engaging us. Peace through strength.
America makes some of the best weaponry in the world, and the US can get wealthy from sales to foreign countries. Sell them just enough to feel secure against their neighbors, but not enough to threaten the US.
...astutely perceived
No, he is not.
Strikes aren't war, in case you didn't notice. Are we at war with a country, no, we are at war with an ancient death cult that has infiltrated many governments around the world.
If you tracked other Defense Expenditures. It does seem to appear that way. It appears other U.S Military Allies, or at the very least their Military’s, are also arming themselves to the teeth and intensifying cooperation with the U.S. Even if their Civilian Administration is adopting increasingly hostile stances to the U.S. Japan for instance went as far as amending their constitution to give the JSDF more operational freedom and access to wider equipment varieties. As for obvious reasons post war reconstruction put various limitations on the Japanese Military.
The DOW has unveiled New Tanks and Jets the past few years. He stated with the announcement of the Battleship that he’s going to discuss with/blackmail Defense contractors into speeding up production schedules. Including investing their fat profits in modernized Factories and production equipment. Instead of Drug binges, bonuses for management and new cars/houses.
He also announced almost as an afterthought you could have missed they’d be working on replacing the Ford Class Carriers already. In the same announcement as the Battleships.
Not to mention his AI/Drone pushes in the past. He’s also been harping on automation and Robotics making up for labor shortages and production shortfalls too. Not just in the Defense sector but broader markets as well.
There’s been multiple shakeups in Military senior staff. And Hegseth more or less unofficially introduced an age cap for flag officers with the mandate they need to take and pass PT tests every year to remain in uniform. Ensuring a steadier turnover of flag officer ranks to new blood
The Military is finally rolling out a new service rifle in an entirely new caliber.
Lasers went from Sci-Fi to becoming a vehicle mounted system inside of 5 years. Miniaturized Nuclear Reactors are becoming a thing too. The Battleship is supposed to also be mounting a railgun as well.
Gauss Rifle prototypes have begun appearing in the Civilian Market.
He already declared we have 2 years to return to the Moon. And another 2 to stick a base with a Nuclear Reactor on it. Which would suggest the potential for a substantial crew complement and a long term mission there.
There’s only 2 real questions. Whether this is a case of ‘If you want peace. Prepare for War’
Or supposing this isn’t and it is a gradual spin up of U.S Defense Capacity. Whether the enemy we will be facing is even human or not.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
Preperation is not causality
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to war we go!
We've been at war bro!
Preparing for a small terrorist nation to try to use the Samson option?
This looks very similar to the plan I suggested some time back called: Leave them in the Dust. The idea is to get so far out ahead militarily and economically, that no country or group of countries can compete, so eventually they stop competing and in the meantime they don’t attack. I believe that we already have a significant portion of the Golden Dome in place.
I think that the CCP still thinks that they have a chance to compete, but Trump has hit the gas.
And Trump is moving the prize chip making out of Taiwan. Another strategy: Remove the Prize.
Trump is against war.
You are cute Handshake but misguided.
You are cute Handshake.
Trump's strategy is the only sane one. Peace through superior fire power.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
The job of the US military is not to win wars. It is to appear so mighty that no one wants to challenge it because they know they will lose.
Looks more like Protection than going into war. Think defensive.
Our navy need to project power moreso than the other branches. They keep the shipping lanes open.
I firmly believe that trump is preparing us for the inevitable use of the Samson option against us. When a certain group loses full control and finds themselves alone against all the enemies they created, the golden dome will save us.
Yep, I think WWIII is inevitable. What isn’t though is what the final team rosters will be for each side.
The DS will use the C_A's navy like the missle at AF1 NW WAshington state. Not worried about Chatham House. I AM worried about Langley
This is the guy that started zero new wars. Ended a few. But if someone messes with us there will be retaliation.
Canada is as well, major investment in military spending and NATO infrastructure
They all know
Defense
The only way to ensure peace is to be the biggest baddest MF’er on the block and have the intelligence and restraint to only use it when someone is attempting to hurt you. History has taught us this lesson over and over. The idea of disarmament and denuclearization is possible only in the far future when more people are awakened. Now is not the time.
Some people can be convinced by rhetoric.
Others need the threat of force to help them along in coming to the right decision.
Trump is always about making a mutually-beneficial deal, but he also realizes the benefit of a backup plan.
Or, as Roosevelt said, "Talk softly, but carry a big stick."
That stuff Trump is planning takes at least a decade to complete, and that's if everything goes right.
Nobody wins if nukes end up involved.
And I do believe that a shooting war is inevitable for humanity.
You're quite boring, did you know that?
Yes.
You're wrong about everything.
Strikes are not war.
So you have presented a logical fallacy as a valid argument.
You should at least recognize logical fallacies before you try to use them on this board.
And given that logical fallacies are among the most common arguments ignorant progressives use, I would hope that someone on this board was more intelligent than that. But no, you're boring.
If strikes aren't war, which they are not, then you are using a false equivalency.
War is a declared legal state between two nations.
You can't possibly be so stupid you don't understand that. Your ignorance must be deliberate.
Spam it, girl!
