My SIL was born overseas, and her family immigrated here when she was three. She works for a local charter high school. She is basically the business manager. The teachers did this there but they bitched that they wanted to be paid. They were all in a meeting about it trying to bully her boss (who is a massive chicken IMHO - willing to bow at the drop of a hat because he gears being tagged with the -isms). She stood up in the meeting and loudly told them,'I am the only immigrant in this room.' She went on to describe how her parents came over. They waited and followed the legal process. how her dad started a corner grocery store - the kind thar are open on holidays for the milk, etc. - and ergo spent holidays away from his family. How her parents helped not only her and her siblings but their own extended family. No one at the school was denying their right to their opinion, but don't expect to be paid when you aren't doing your job.
The room got very quiet. She shamed the hell out of them - and they deserved it.
Did anyone else sense a smugness on receptionists face as if he was in the wrong....you really can't reason with these people, they do not think logically as to how someone else could have a differing opinions than their own.
The easy way to stop schools from doing this is to sue them when "your kid" is arrested during the protest. Sue them for allowing your kid to be outside of school without your permission, unsupervised, and taken to an unsafe area - and them getting arrested. You can probably sue both the school and the individual teacher since "they/them/it/ze/zir/unicorn" were responsible for your kid during that time.
Who knows - maybe a kidnapping charge could be leveled as well since it happened when they took your child out of school without permission and went offsite to a potentially dangerous area/activity. It doesn't matter if the child consented - they are a minor, or at the minimum the teacher has legal responsibility to teach them in school (if they are 18+). Just like a teacher can be charged for dating an 18yo student (probably only in a red state).
Yeah I remember having to get my parents to sign forms even for a field trip to the museum. Meanwhile today's kids are just hauled wherever their leftist teachers want to be used as props?
I guess I'm a national hero also. I pulled my kids out of a prviate Christian school when they said one of them should be quarantined because they got too close to someone who had a positive PCR test 24 hours later.
Same here. The private school mine was in, went woke during the scamdemic. Said they had to bow to the gvt and forced the kids to wear mask all day. Pulled mine out in 2021, started homeschooling and haven't looked back.. cheers fren
I wrote my sons principal to ask whjy a substitute teacher is asking the class what their pronouns are instead of teaching. Im still waiting to hear back. lol
Everyone moving to FLA will find the same indoctrination there as everywhere else. The communists took over media and education. Control what people see, hear and learn. The formula is simple and the solution is equally simple. Parents tired of this need to do two things. First, form home schooling associations and second, get behind Trump in having education money follow the children. So, when enough kids are pulled out of schools they have to shut down for lack of funding. Let schools compete for students. I guarantee you the schools that advertise that their curriculum concentrates on reading, writing, math, science, critical thinking, personal responsibility and have a dress code and most importantly, do not indoctrinate students, they have live stream video in every class where parents can look in at anytime to see how the class is being conducted and promote open parent teacher communication, that school will see it packed with kids. No gender, race, sexual identity, social equity and inclusion BS, no climate change, anti-ICE, and other leftist crap. And one final thing, it should promote the United States and the GOD under which this country was founded. One Nation Under God With Liberty And Justice For All. Let that happen and the problem goes away completely,

Folks, if these protests are happening in your state, it's imperative that you call your representative and senator and demand that ALL federal funding be immediately withdrawn from that school. ALL of it. For a period of time to be determined. (I'd say, in perpetuity. )

Well this obviously isn't in CA because anybody can come into a school and pick up and child they want to without having to show their ID.

my youngest in middle school said they had a walk out.. I asked him did he recognize any of the people in the walkout?
he just stared at me... In some areas I think they are also shuttling in kids from other districts.
he told me if they did one and he was involved he would walk home. I told him to call me as it is happening so I can pick you up and record it .. haha
