Sounds like bull poop to me. Many factors, but the real driving force of the timing was that Iran was soon going to start enriching again. But this time it was going to be in a granite mountain where our bombs would have no effect. And I believe they were also trying to protect the air shafts on the facility that we had already bombed. But that probably could have been overcome. However, the granite mountain facility would take several nukes to destroy. We could shut down the entrance with hypersonic weapons, but they could just tunnel a new entrance.
They had enough for 11 bombs, which was in line for my 12 theory. 6 for Israel, 2 for the US and 3 in reserve to prevent attack.
The other big timing factor was that we didn’t want the current uprising to fizzle out.
I'd rather just glass from the Mediterranean all the way to pakistan and harvest the silicate ashes for cell phone screens for the next 200 years... byt thats just me.
