Iran is already finished. Their oil wells are mostly ruined, because they had to stop production. Their storage is full, and their remaining ships are full. Old oil wells from the 30s and 40s can't just be restarted like before. They have permanently lost a large percentage of their production capability.
All they have to do is burn the flowing oil.
It doesn't require storage if it goes up in smoke.

I have a cousin who visited Cuba a few years ago. He said that when he got out of the touristy areas, the rest of the country looked like crap.
