I've been a paramedic for almost 30 years. About 10 years ago I took pictures of a crime scene to assist with my documentation of the scene and incident and to show hospital staff. Law enforcement found out and got a subpoena to confiscate for my phone as evidence. I never got it back. I kinda wish they would have given me the option of deleting the pictures.
Now during training we advise all new medics not to use personal phones to take pictures or personal computers for anything work related because it can all be subpoenaed and seized.
