I figure they are gonna double dip soon enough. The family that is. With Anthony’s appeal, he’s already sayings he’s a penniless indigenous, and that he’s praying for the court to assign him lawyer for his appeal. Time for the family to get Ben Stiller or some other actor to say “let’s raise some money for….” And boom, family becomes millionaires. Another cash payout for a family of a murderer.
Oh ok, so your name calling was my imagination….playing the victim again I see. And man, are you hung up on your ancestors. Curious, are you black? Are you a modern day slave as well? Sure are hung up on people who are just as flawed as I am. Yes flawed. They aren’t better than me. They are the same. Flawed, sinful, needing God’s grace every minute. You’re not attacking institutions, you’re attacking Christians. At least be a man about it and admit it. We don’t hold up to your standards. Oh I’m sorry, your ancestors standards. EYEROLL. Which you’ve only read about in books. Please. Stop your victim playing. You are no better than anyone else here. You’re just pissed about it. Grow up. Moving along. Don’t have time for thinned skin children who are just getting wet behind their ears.
Man I can stand soccer for some reason. My two sons played it..I was there. I helped practice with them. But I truly do dislike that sport. And I’m seeing all these ads and clips of Shakira and some Speed fellas music for the world tour!…I’m like, when does football season start! I’m watching baseball in the meantime, Baseball! And softball. Sheesh. End this misery! LoL.
Yea the Dad is in pain. I can’t relate on that level, not many can. I do understand forgiveness. The dad mentioned he forgave him that day but doesn’t forgive what he’s done. I’m thinking the dad hasn’t truly forgave him yet? I mean we want to. But it can take time. In Psalm 103:12, which says, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us". Basically saying your sins are totally forgotten. Gone forever from God’s forgiveness for you. Won’t be held over your head. As humans, and I hate that excuse, but we are. It’s hard sometimes. We want to forgive. And so much gets in the way. Our pride and anger. Our pain. Through Jesus we can. It takes faith. Trust. Humbleness to God. But not can be difficult. I’ve thought about this recently, heard about this interaction. Think about this. Whose to say one day..20 yrs from now, the Metcalf family gains a new son. I mean the Anthony family literally put their son up for cash money. Do they really care? They cared about that money didn’t they. Imagine they visit him in prison off and on. Caring for him. Having forgiveness, true forgiveness and seeing him regularly. And one day he comes home to them instead of his own family. Wouldn’t that be a sight? If in the courtroom yesterday they would’ve said something like this out loud. That they forgave him. And they are sorry their son is gone and that now his life is ruined as well, but invited him to their home one day, as a son. Imagine the news right now. Where would the hatred in the streets go? Satan would have lost again. God’s love prevails, again. I can imagine it. It’s happened before. I know personally some it has happened to. And it was a white and black family as well. Except the results were opposite of this case. One can hope.
Well I think your words or how you lay them out is confusing, for most people. I mean basically, there is no such thing as a carnal church. Many people would confuse that as a denomination or organization, whatever. I’m not trying to go against you or anything, it’s just if you’re gonna lay out scripture, it’s best to post the actual words from the bible. As people know it. Because there is no Bible for a “carnal church”. That's a behavior based comment. And fleshy sinful church. Although I get it, we are. We are sinners. But it’s not something we characterize as good. Or sought after. We fight against. I get what you mean but it seems confusing. And the numbered scripture posted was significantly different than what’s written. Perhaps same meaning, but different. And we don’t want to confuse people. God’s word is simple and powerful. As a child can understand. Especially with help in those who can understand. Remember the millstone comment Jesus said. This forum uses it wrong constantly, more than anywhere else I go. But it was in reference tho those who mislead or confuse new Christians. With their childlike faith. Has nothing to do with age or mistreatment of youth. And neither of us wants to be doing that. I’m just saying be careful not to confuse those who are barely holding on. And that’s for both us. May we please our Lord with these works. ❤️
But hopefully you understand a carnal Christian is unbiblical. A Christian can be a carnal Christian, for a time..James 2 makes it abundantly clear that genuine faith will always result in good works. Ephesians 2:8-10 declares that while we are saved by grace alone through faith alone, that salvation will result in works. Can a Christian, in a time of failure and/or rebellion, appear to be carnal? Yes. Will a true Christian remain carnal? No. In 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 Paul is addressing the readers as “brethren,” a term he uses almost exclusively to refer to other Christians. He then goes on to describe them as “carnal.” Therefore we can assume that Christians can be carnal. The Bible is absolutely clear that no one is sinless. Every time we sin, we are acting “carnally.”
The key thing to understand is that while a Christian can be, for a time, carnal, a true Christian will not remain carnal for a lifetime. Some have abused the idea of a “carnal Christian” by saying that it is possible for people to come to faith in Christ and then proceed to live the rest of their lives in a completely carnal manner, with no evidence of being born again or a new creation as in 2 Corinthians 5:17. And as said before, that belief is unbiblical. The question is not whether a person who claims to be a Christian but lives carnally, has lost his salvation, but whether that person was truly saved in the first place. Christians who become carnal in their behavior can expect God to lovingly discipline them so they can be restored to close fellowship with Him and be trained to obey Him. God’s desire in saving us is that we would progressively grow closer to the image of Christ, as in Romans 12, becoming increasingly spiritual and decreasingly carnal, also known as sanctification. Until we are delivered from our sinful flesh, there will be outbreaks of “carnality.” For a genuine believer in Christ though, these outbreaks of carnality will be the exception, not the rule. It’s long I’m sorry. Just wanted to be clear here.
I don’t get this at all. Just skip to Revelation 22:18-19 KJV.
“ 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book”
In short. You change the wording of Revelation, you’ll be plagued and or die. And this basically covers the entirety of God’s word. The Bible. Your post seems, extremely confusing to me. God’s word isn’t confusing. And you didn’t post the entire line of scripture. ?? These two lines of scripture cover for those who say “the Bible was written by man” and “I don’t trust man’s word”, and etc. I’ve always said I have enough faith in God to protect His word. We are receiving the truth. Period. And nothing can change that and survive. These lines of scripture assure of this. But what you’re talking about, mine as well be another language.
That’s so Trump. One day “ima give you 10c on the dollar”, next day 5, lol. He gets them deals. I’m hoping he gets the deals I know he wants for Americans soon. We’ve earned them. It’s still gonna be sad when he does eventually leave office. Don’t see how we can have another one like him.
In short, you’re possibly being told by God to attack. You are righteous enough to commit actions, physically, emotionally, or however “you” decide, because you’ve been given the order. Kill, hurt, condemn in God’s name. That’s you. It’s what you’re saying. You’re comparing yourself to Jesus, in your own words. For example “even Jesus”..as in, even He, like you. Here’s a clue for you….you’re not that good. You’re a sinner. And being a “human” doesn’t give you the right, to make those kinds of actions on your own. God isn’t “ok” with us being human, as in sinful ways…oh well, I’m just a human I can get away with these things because He will always forgive me. Lame. Lame, lame excuse. I hear it all the time. Even from myself. That’s not acceptable. And if it is, please post actual scripture where it says..if you sin and you’re a human, it’s ok. It’s not ok. Jesus died for our sins. It’s not ok to just shrug them off as “I’m a human”. It’s why we ask for forgiveness for our human ways daily. You should hate your sin. You should fight against it daily. Man’s heart is inherently evil. Corrupted. Here is what you need to sit and think about. From your own words….the apostles themselves were weak men. Unwilling to fight these battles the way you see it. To pray for and forgive those who throw stones at you. To trust in God and God alone. That’s weakness in your eyes. You misunderstand kindness and compassion as weakness. And you outta be ashamed at that. Call me names, whatever you like, keep going. But you need to reconnect to the teachings of Jesus. Because not sounds like you’ve never heard them before.
Yea exactly. Invasion basically, is what we talking about here. If they aren’t taken over within or from the outside. Nothing changes. They will lie all day and night to “win” against the infidels. If it takes decades, doesn’t matter. They won’t stop. And even if we blow up every nuclear facility, give it a couple years, you’ll see them rebuilding them. Like a bunch of ants that WON’T go away, lol.
Well I guess, as a whole, horses are treated better today than they have been for thousands of years. Armies would run them to death, switch horses, run them to death again. Horses are beautiful creatures. Still sad to see. But it happens. It’s kinda weird how nowadays humans are more attached to animals than their own kind. We’re more kind to animals. Defending of animals. Respectful. I mean of course there are “those” stories, I mean as a whole. You can take a person who has never owned a horse, cry over this picture here. But hearing about an infant torn apart in a murderous procedure called abortion, they just scroll to the next topic. Unaffected.
I would think people can see clearly that a lot of media is bought and paid for. I mean if ratings are a measure of a program’s running life…I don’t think bottom of the barrel would be so popular. But with an endless supply of cash, anything can stay afloat.
And that’s why people are saying an endless war. No they will never stop. Either they all die, which won’t happen. Not by our hand. Or their interest, direction change. Don’t see that happening anytime soon either. The people of that nation have to do it. And have we heard any news of the rebellion? It’s like it just disappeared?
You’re in the wrong direction. Nation or nacio is from Latin yes, but “Latins” saw the word ethne and translated nation or nacio from it. The word nation in Greek is “ethne”, meaning nation or people groups. So “ethne” is the word you’re looking for here. So Jesus would’ve said ethne because He was referring to people groups or “panta ta ethne”. All people. The word came from < that way and ended up > over there. Not the other way around. And translation occurred. Jesus wasn’t referring to actual counties. Like US, Russia, etc. Also remember this comment is just shorthand for Gentiles. And since you mentioned Paul.. Paul said later, 'no difference between Jews and Gentiles, between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesus' Galatians 3.28.
And for your last questions, it’s longer winded so I can try to shorten it. Paul was basically a Roman citizen. He wrote to mostly those of “white skin” because of the areas available. Available is the key word here. Areas conquered by the Romans at the time. Outside of those borders were barbarian lands. Try getting letters through that. Christianity did get there eventually, but was later. Several years after Paul. So Roman lands were areas he had access to. The man was basically under house arrest at this time. But basically you’re gonna wanna read up on the Roman Empire and the expansion of Christianity. So Paul wrote to every area he had access to. They just happen to have more “white skin”. And that’s “thinking it through” and very summed up.
But your entire argument is bent on violence. No mention of prayer for your enemies. No mention of forgiveness for anyone. Let’s get’em instead. Jesus could flip tables, he’s anger is always justified. Are you saying you’re good enough to express anger and action? You’re a sinner, same as me. Jesus was not. He was righteous. Do you know how many people are righteous besides Jesus? Zero. So if you think you’ve got permission to attack or whatever you’re foaming at the mouth for, go for it big guy. I’ll know when I need to act. The Lord will let me know. Until then I’ll follow orders as best I can. I’ll continue to pray for my enemies. And NOT underestimate the power of God, to take matters into my own hands and start this crusade of yours. When God says Vengeance is mine, I believe that. And I’ll try to stay out of the physical fight because I don’t have the know how to make the perfect decisions as Christ can. My emotions get in the way. But you go right ahead. And you’ll be wrong do to so. Wanna see Christians standing up…you reading from one right now. To you. And see, I’m not having to to make you bleed to get the point.
It’s the Great Commission. Jesus commands seek out all nations. Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” And even in Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
That’s pretty clear to me. Everywhere and everyone.
I didn’t want to say anything the other day but…if I was at a desk at the VA, and a man flashed this in front of me, saying I’m in trouble. It would be hard not laugh in their face. I would assume they are joking. I would think it’s typed at home and dude wants special treatment. Now I am NOT saying that’s what Woody did here. By no means. Just with the errors and stuff and my “I barely believe anything nowadays” attitude. I hope you get restitution Mr. Woody. I really do. Sometimes we have to be the tip of the spear, and all the resistance with it. O7
