As for unsauced populism, there is no historical evidence to suggest that Dec 25th is a pagan holiday. There are holidays that exist around it in that month, but not on that date.
There IS, however, historical evidence suggesting that early Christians celebrated something in remembrance of Christ on Dec 25th as early as the first century. It is described as a festival of lights, special foods, and gift-giving. My own theory is that this was probably a modified version of what we know as Hanukkah, but that's just me, and I'm quick to say that. I get what you're saying. Odds are, you're right. But I am hopeful enough to imagine that he sees the way the tide is turning and may find it better for himself to start doing the right thing after he's elected.
At first, he'll have no choice. He'll need to make it look like he was a man of his word, with the intent of slowly steering towards the globalist path. But when the world wakes up around him, I think he'll be clear-headed enough to start making the right decisions, even if it's just to protect himself.
