Agreed. I love a good black bean burger or REAL veggie burger, where you can see the vegetables in it. (I’m not a vegetarian)

For a meat eater it’s pointless and probably gross sounding; to a vegetarian it looks to much like meat to be appealing.

I don’t believe in karma. There are a lot of awful human beings who live extravagant lives and do whatever they want with no consequences. And a lot of good (by earthly standards) people who have suffered and been horribly mistreated.

Yep. Years back I attended a chamber of commerce meeting for work. This particular one was about a certain business and their diversity team. It was a panel of 6 or 7 black women. 😒 Not a very diverse panel.

My husband runs a restaurant (all are through e-verify but who really knows, they’re quite good at looking legit) and the Hispanic (Guatemalan and Mexican) guys make double minimum wage, do a great job, and always work overtime. Literally every American he’s hired quits, sadly.
