And it's a trap. The black people I know that have done well in life figured it out and got away from it as quickly as they could. It's an amazing difference in life with the right perspective.

Yup, they are in that group as well. Funny thing is, the blacks that moved up and moved on are doing quite well. It's the ones belly aching about it that stay put in poverty

The biggest problem with most medical treatments is the idea that one size fits all. Everyone has unique situations and conditions and need to find what works for them. I'm pretty sure God knows who's head is not working at optimal performance and compensates accordingly

Block grants to affected states and states that send resources as requested. Might be able to reduce FEMA to a dozen administrative positions. Audits can be performed by rotating CPAs. They need to be random to prevent a network from forming

In the private sector, every time we got a new CEO, they started with the highest paid person and asked 1 question. "If he were gone, would we know the difference?" I always felt relief when I knew the person they just let go was below my pay grade. I made the cut half dozen times before they sold the company. I didn't make that cut, but after a few weeks of being gone the new CEO ask if I wanted my job back. It was too late, I had already landed a much better job
