Income Tax = Slave Tax

This. It's still income tax. They took the shackle off your left leg and put it on the right...and everybody cheers.

I am still in the "no tariffs until no income tax" camp.

No income tax is the promise, and I won't accept tariffs until that condition is met. That just ends up double fucking us the moment another RINO or Dem gets in office.

It's a good start for someone not even in office yet. But we need to go all the way. Score that goal. Sink that basket.

People on the left are already using it to ridicule us as they claim we voted for Trump because of inflation and they say tariffs are going to cause everything to skyrocket even worse so jokes on us… I definitely agree that Trump needs to takes care of us first so we can either afford the tariffs or higher cost for American made goods. And also to provide a good slap on the left side so they can stfu and eat their words.

Agreed. Normies won't swallow it either because it will literally just be another tax on the people at that point.

Needs to be a give and take, but the give needs to happen as part of the package.

Why do anons get so caught up in the lefts narrative?

Tariffs, at least to begin with, are to be used as a cudgel to reverse the decades long outsourcing of our manufacturing sector, not as a revenue producer. If your product and its parts are predominantly made in the USA you will have no tariff. This will supercharge the economy and wages will far outstrip any increase in the cost of some goods. The repatriation of manufacturing has already begun and companies are scrambling to meet the conditions.

And there is another reason for tariffs. They will be used as a diplomatic cudgel as well.

There is no downside to how Trump will use tariffs. We already have seen the positive effects in his first administration.

I dont think you can just end income tax by decree. It would cause short term damage thats unacceptable. You still have to fund the government. I see a gradual amending to the tax code and the clean up of unfair practices that cause us to pay taxes on money we have already paid taxes on, and as tariffs and other revenue producers come online it will be replaced with a flat tax and perhaps a VAT or removed entirely.

Let's not assume it's a flat income tax. It could be a flat consumption tax.

– Shalimar 4 points 1 year ago +4 / -0

Frankly, that's always made the most sense to me. You buy based on what you can afford to buy. A flat consumption tax - I think food and meds should be exempt - would be applied equally and those who work more cash basis to avoid paying would pay.

Yeah, plus even if it was on absolutely everything, currently day to day, the poorest class still pays 15% taxes.

– User11212019 23 points 1 year ago +23 / -0

You sound like you dont know how taxes work. Tax refund at end of year means you overpaid your taxes throughout the year. No income tax would mean you keep all of that tax money in the first place.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Ecl1pseGST 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

Of course. But an extra few bucks a week would get spent. A few grand at tax time lets me catch up for the year. If prices were at 2018 level I could actually save money but my wages have not kept up with inflation.

The wealthy currently don’t pay much income tax. They buy assets and write down tax burdens through loopholes designed buy them and for them. This will force those people to pay their share while Trump is working on implementing tariffs. The working class has always paid more taxes than anyone else, unfairly and also by design. These people (us) will need to be exempt from the flat tax to eliminate them from continuing to be over burdened and paying more in taxes proportionately. The working class are who elected Trump into office and who are needed for the next MAGA candidate. So, Trump has talked about no taxes on tips, overtime, social security benefits for seniors. It only makes sense that a flat income tax be exempt from this same class during the transition to tariffs. The wealthy will have to bare the burden and can afford to. This can finally happen if the current tax code is scrapped. This is my take and hopefully I made it fairly clear. Let’s see what happens..

There is no such thing as your share, or their share. That is just brainwashed talk. The fact is that none of us should be paying tax. Tariffs were the way our founders went, not direct taxation on the people. Only those working for the federal government had a tax liability.

Since strongarming taxes upon us, government has raised taxes to find ways to use it, not to meet increased costs. They have created unconstitutional departments, programs, and causes to spend money on, and then want more like the greedy bastards they are.

“The government taxes you when you bring home a paycheck. It taxes you when you make a phone call. It taxes you when you turn on a light. It taxes you when you sell a stock. It taxes you when you fill your car with gas. It taxes you when you ride a plane. It taxes you when you get married. Then it taxes you when you die. This is taxual insanity and it must end.” ~ J. C. Watts, Jr. (1957- ) US Congressman from Oklahoma (R), former quarterback in the Canadian Football League

“To lay taxes to provide for the general welfare of the United States, that is to say, 'to lay taxes for the purpose of providing for the general welfare.' For the laying of taxes is the power, and the general welfare the purpose for which the power is to be exercised. They are not to lay taxes ad libitum for any purpose they please; but only to pay the debts or provide for the welfare of the Union.” ~ Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President

“But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime.” ~ Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850) [Claude Frederic Bastiat] French economist, statesman, and author. He did most of his writing during the years just before -- and immediately following -- the French Revolution of February 1848 "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat (1848)

“The collection of taxes which are not absolutely required, which do not beyond reasonable doubt contribute to the public welfare, is only a species of legalized larceny. The wise and correct course to follow in taxation is not to destroy those who have already secured success, but to create conditions under which everyone will have a better chance to be successful.” ~ Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933) 30th US President

“It would be thought a hard government that should tax its people one tenth part.” ~ Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) US Founding Father

“To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical.” ~ Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President Virginia Statutes of Religious Freedom, 1779.

“I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on the objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” ~ James Madison (1751-1836), Father of the Constitution for the USA, 4th US President 1792, in disapproval of Congress appropriating $15,000 to assist some French refugees

“Beware the greedy hand of government, thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry.” ~ Thomas Paine (1737-1809) US Founding father, pamphleteer, author

“The theory of the IRS is rather repugnant to me because the assumption is made that I, the government, owns 100% of your income and I permit you to keep 5%, 10% or 20%. You're vulnerable, you've sold out. The government can take 80% if they want, which they did at one time.” ~ Dr. Ron Paul (1935-) American physician, US Congressman (R-TX), US Presidential candidate Candidates@Google interview, July 13, 2007

I agree. Not brainwashed but I understand you saying such. DC needs to decrease by 90%, my random figure, since it’s impossible to tell at this time the exact degree of waste. I’m hopeful DOGE exposes and determines this degree and that Trump and team immediately begin closing / defunding government to the same degree. Simply assuming it takes 1-2 years to accomplish this and have tariffs in place to subsidize the newly decreased government is where I would understand a flat tax on the wealthy. No others. Scrapping the current tax code is a massive step in the direction we both agree on. No income tax (0). I voted for H. Ross Perot because he understood and tried to expose NAFTA and its certain outcome. I believe he would have exposed the income tax scam as well, or I would have hoped. Regarding the elimination of income tax, which is repugnant to the constitution, the time is now or possibly never. I say it is at least soon.

Congress can write general law for the territories and laws for the States of the Union that come under the powers of the federal government as written in the Constitution. Congress has no duty to inform you which hat they are wearing.

Explain why 8 United States Code doesn't contain the names of all the States of the Union? I have searched.

Explain why the US Treasury published Treasury Decision 2313 (TD2313) in which they deemed Brushaber, a man born in New York, as nonresident and alien (meaning non-citizen) to the United States.

Bottom line, people born in the 50 states have citizenship in their states, and not the United States (the federal government, Washington DC).

The tax laws apply to US citizens, and non-citizens receiving money from federal sources.

fyi...IRS has already been largely neutralized. Media is hiding it. SCOTUS ruled on 27JUN24 all IRS tax courts null and void, 28JUN24 all IRS rules and regulations null and void, 01JUL24 all IRS agents are individually liable for “unofficial acts” which include attempts to enforce voided rules in voided courts.

IRS must sue you in Federal Court now, and you file motion to dismiss for 1. No jurisdiction and 2. No standing - they cannot prove actual damages from you not paying taxes.

You are not wrong about the legal aspects of tax law, but the taxes keep piling up and we are slowly becoming more and more enslaved to the System controlled by unelected bureaucrats who in turn control our "elected" officials who are supposed to work for US.

As time goes on, those of us who remember being somewhat free will be gone, and the younger generations will only know oppression under the Globalists' boots.
