God and man both have laws that can deal with people that harm children, although admittedly man's law is fairly limited due partially, as many are now finding out, to the lawmakers own dark proclivities. It's unfortunate that people allow the sins of others to justify acquiescing to the voice of the beast within, and then somehow think their target's greater sins will pardon their own. As you said it's part of the negative cycle trap that has been perpetuated by the world of darkness for too long, and then this has been further overamplified by decades of Hollywood programing.
The teachings of Jesus are meant to break this negative cycle loop of the satanic world and it's troubling that there are good people who still can't see that.
