I am a Christian but not catholic. As an outsider to the catholics, I don't see how they use a few bible verses to snow ball into what they have going on. I think people believe in catholicism because of some kind of appeal to authority. It's so old and established over a long period so they must be right - kind of thing. For me this has no bearing on it being accurate or ordained by god.
Morality is determined by your culture. If it’s honorable to eat cow shit like in India then people will clap for you when you eat it. Of course people who are Christian base their morality on the unchanging word of God
I saw someone criticize USA morality because the person they were arguing with said beastiality was evil. Understand? Without God your morality can drift one way or the other because it’s not unchanging like God.
We’re in the right direction. I view this as a process towards eliminating income tax altogether
