The hype and unjustified high cost you describe in the second paragraph is exactly how I feel about Starbucks. Like many trendy things, they are marketed to insecure people who just want to be associated with whatever the latest thing is. I’m hearing that giant “Stanley” cups are the latest craze among soccer moms.
I just heard a guy on a local radio station saying that Hertz will be 80% EV starting next month. He was renting a Hertz car and all they had was EV. There was a line of people at the Hertz counter and none of them wanted to rent an EV. People are catching on. Companies like Hertz are not.
Yep I used to go there when I lived in Castle Rock. Their coffee wasn’t great but I loved the freedom. Also Briccis (iirc) in the same town was also super based. Great owner. We’ve since moved to an actual red state. Going back there tomorrow to visit the grandkids. I miss a lot about Colorado but not the California destruction. I hate to admit this but there’s a part of me that hopes the vaxtards start dying off enough that we can afford to move back there and help return the state to some semblance of normalcy.
Unfortunately that’s only a SLIGHT exaggeration of the reality.
