If you see an X post that is labeled as a thread, you can look through the comments to see if someone requested a thread from threadreader app, then look at the reply to get the url. I so appreciate that Purkiss posts them.

Did you hear of Aaron Russo's film (freedom to fascism) back in the early 2000's or so? I went to a local theater that showed it, and the local paper put out a story that the local police were taking down license plate info from cars in the parking lot.

I used to use dial up modems to get online even. But today’s websites would take 1/2 a day to load at those speeds. 🫤

I've seen a few interviews with him during the past week or so, I'll add this to the list. Thanks. As for corruption everywhere, it's hard to imagine the scope of it. I'm thinking that at the very least, this aspect of the corruption may bring some crashes in residential real estate and banking / mortgage lending. Hopefully it won't last too long and housing prices won't be so crazy high when the dust settles.

I only saw 3 posts on the home page and looked at this one, so it appears to still be a work in progress.

Try the one just above 6/. In particular he's talking about the Iran mission where they bombed underground nuclear facilities. The X poster maybe trying to lead us to think it's about more than that, but apparently it's not.

She would still have to try to get convictions with a D.C. jury. Big challenge.

The Washington state AG equates "residents" with "citizens", so good luck with that here. Some indictments of state officials would be nice.

Is fentanyl legal to import? (Answer: No) on #11 it says Mexico is paying stiff tariffs, 25% on fentanyl and autos. I wonder what the description is on the Customs declaration? I think she may mean that they're paying that high a tariff on autos because of all the fentanyl that is still shipped to the U.S. and they haven't tried to stop it.

I suspect it might be worse than them just knowing about the vulnerabilities. I suspect, based on their behavior; that they may even be complicit in taking advantage of them and maybe even having them created in the first darn place.

He won't go unrecognized: "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:27 [KJV])"

Thanks for sharing the thread. I think another reason Republicans support it is due to some of their business donors wanting the cheap labor.

Pretty sure that happened recently. A car carrier (ship) was off the coast of Alaska when fire broke out and they had to rescue the crew. https://x.com/nypost/status/1937576261850669139?s=61

Very good dig, and quite interesting. Talk about someone with a bad case of TDS. Thank you.

Not to mention, if all they have to offer is drugging people, will they be any better off?

The tariff is charged on the price that the importer is charged, which is usually the wholesale price of goods. So it doesn't mean that retail prices are going to be 15% higher. FYI.

If you want Linux with support (such as Red Hat or Ubuntu server) it's not free. But it would still be more secure than M$. And depending on the size of the organization, you could use a combination of Red Hat and CentOS I think, since they'd be compatible and the CentOS is free.

If that's a "quick one" I'd hate to see the ones that aren't quick. It's a somewhat long article. Interesting premise, I only read the first part of it.
