A good friend is not an employee of that hospital system - but she oversees cases there remotely for her practice. Even she received a letter stating that everyone working at the Houston Methodist hospital system is required to be get a "COVID-19 vaccine". She opted out of religious and medical reasons. Was at my daughter's graduation yesterday afternoon in Georgia. They required masks and social distancing. ALMOST NOBODY was wearing a mask except a few stupid liberals - unfortunately including my wife and adult daughters. They weren't even brave enough to keep their masks on, conveniently removing them to blend in with the crowd.
No I didn't get this poison, and I didn't wear a mask. I would have laughed at my wife and daughter to their faces but I decided to keep the peace.

Thank you for relating your experience. This other side of the lockdowns, loss of jobs, and social isolation is never reported. We occasionally read about this in the Real Media (vs the Enemedia) but one cannot get the full horror of the situation unless it's related by someone who deals with this problem often.
Any upper respiratory tract infection that affects the nasal mucosa may affect the sense of smell - even the good ol' common cold. Smell is about 70% of taste - which leaves one with sweet, sour, salt or bitter taste until that nasal mucosa heals. So get yourself something nice and sweet, or more beer!

These stupid, virtue signaling liberals only think of themselves, are so myopic and only know of and believe what the EneMedia tell them.
They never consider the impact of these draconian but unnecessary lockdowns have on those who cannot work or feed their families.. Even in the US the impact has been devastating on the lower income earners and the small business owners. Much more so without handouts as in most other countries.

I've had quite a number of instances where I've been saved from accidents caused by my own mistakes, sometimes split second decisions where I've avoided major mishaps. So I know my guardian angel exists.
