The lawyers I hired ended up not being able to do the case as it was her former divorce lawyer..lost money there.

By the7 time we hit the next court the PI unnerved them enough to temporarily give up custody. I could not ask for more support from the support I had w split custody w both us working...I lost the house..wasnt able to leave son w anyone not even my mom so aka no working for you.......dont ever stop fighting dont ever back down.
Doing this kinda fight w the nursing home over mom..its all about money.
Children services and area agency on aging get like 30k when they remove a child .remove elderly to nursing.

Family court is rife with shit like this. The Parents are in the middle of a nasty divorce, and both are so angry at each other they're willing to use the kids to get back at the other parent. Dropping an accusation of abuse during the process of child custody is practically par for the course. If the father had a CPS investigation and they found something damning about him, and the judge ignored THAT, then i'd be right with you guys in your righteous indignation. HOWEVER, this image shows the two important words: "Previously Unreported." That shoots the whole thing out of the water, and a family court judge who is so used to this sort of thing has been basically conditioned to ignore last second tricks.
Something else you all should be keeping in mind is your bias against the judicial system over this election. Not ALL of the system is fucking broken. And yes, I am aware of how fucked up family court is. But just ASSUMING the judge is a sick fuck who is just shoving a kid back into a sexual predators home based on literally no other information is foolish at BEST. For a forum and a group of people who pride themselves on research, the knee jerk reactions sure are troubling!
True, had a friend whose ex decided she wanted a younger man and psychologically abused their adolescent daughters to make heinous accusations against the father- who honestly was a gentle and caring person to a fault. Court and mediators were definitely aligned against him and caused much unnecessary suffering for years- every time the psycho was unhappy (often), she'd stir something up against him just to make him suffer- kept trying to take away all visitation rights, get more money, etc.
It took years but the girls eventually saw through the layers of lies and manipulation and completely turned their backs on the psycho. Almost all her family estranged her as well, still apparently a few enablers in there. Feminism and communism in the education system have totally wrecked many women.
I mean, do we want a justice system where little girl's word is law? I know of many many cases where the child was lying for attention or to hurt the accused.

Having done CPS investigations myself, it does occasionally happen that you’ll get a rebellious teen that makes accusations because they want to live with one parent over another or just don’t want to live with both parents because the parents try to enforce rules. I went and read the article (should have had a link in the post) and with the little context available it doesn’t sound like this is one of those situations. I’m inclined to believe her story but it’s hard to judge the whole situation from one article, much less a screenshot of a headline/snippet.

The judge took them at their word without investigating. They admitted they lied when they were older.
The article says she originally reported it and lives in Montana with her dad. She refused to go back after visiting her mom in Missouri. So sounds like her dad has mostly full custody. Family court can be stupid and needs reform, but it's possible that since there was no evidence (as stated in the article), and it is across state borders, that the judge didn't have a choice due to family laws. I'm assuming Montana courts gave the dad custody, so the mom would have to go fight there for custody, not in Missouri. I'm not a lawyer and all that, and am probably wrong, so anyone feel free to correct me.
Psychologists are compromised, though, many times are paid "experts" who provide whatever their paymasters desire. In doubt, remove potential victim to SAFE neutral place and get NEUTRAL investigation underway- this is more difficult than it should be, amazingly.

In the US, it's supposed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law no matter what. However, that forces kids back into these situations until the perpetrator is caught with enough evidence to prosecute.
The law is a very blunt instrument that doesn't serve families well. Family law needs a total overhaul, because it forces adversarial all-or-nothing positions, tying money to custody and preventing common sense solutions. Whoever loses custody loses their kids and their freedom.
