We all agreed. The waterway for the Houston Ship Channel is roughly similar in width to the Suez Canal waterway. If a large ship ever ran aground and got stuck diagonally blocking the channel... it would be freed within 2-days at worst. No question about it... all available resources would be brought and the ship would be straightened out within 48 hours. The largest dredges, floating cranes, tug boats, excavators, etc... would all be on site within hours.
How is it that a ship stuck in SAND is that difficult to extract? It's not like the Nile delta area and the Suez Canal itself wouldn't have large equipment nearby.

I would wager Napoleon and his army built the largest pyramids and the Sphinx. The engineering of the air shafts that go up on an angle, cutting through hundreds of stones with absolute precision is too complicated for anything but more modern technologies. The Egyptians only built the older step pyramids and mastabas.
Why were the massive pyramids never even really referenced at all through history? People cite Herodotus as the lone example but even he was going off what people said to him. Could this be to halt some human trafficking for as long as possible? The Ever Given and all the other hundreds of cargo ships just waiting around probably have dozens of shipping containers filled with refugees, trafficked humans (children especially), or people trying to smuggle into other countries (Europe mostly). Once those people are in the containers there is a limited amount of air, food, and water. The containers are air-tight for travel by sea to prevent any water leaking in during storms. If these ships are stuck for roughly an extra 2 weeks longer than they would normally be, these people are going to die inside.
This is going to really piss off the human traffickers waiting at the ports for their next shipments of humans, and possibly even the elites waiting for their child sacrifices and adrenochrome replacements. Even if the ship is moved in the next day or two, shipping will still be clogged for several weeks. This one event will affect the global economy for weeks, or maybe months, and if the MSM doesn't shy away from it, the general public may hear about hundreds of dead people found inside the containers.
