BTW... This was taken here in north Texas.
Southbound?
Nevermind, just scrolled down and got my answer.
The military shifts stuff all over via rail. Might be new off the assembly line, getting refurb, coming back from deployment, going on deployment, getting ready for sale or a mix of everything.
What's still concerning is seeing stuff still in FDE colors. (if that gives you any indication where the military industrial complex is still focused)
What are FDE colors?
"FDE" is what us mil types shorten from "Flat Dark Earth". It the standard desert paint job. Military tends to bastardize everything into an acronym, but for a good reason (most times) trending hard toward communication brevity/efficiency.
Flat Dark Earth. Its a color thats a mix of mostly brown/tan with an ever so slight greenish hue.
Well a date, time, location, and direction of travel would help...like... A LOT!
Today, about 20 minutes ago, and heading west on highway 380.
I see, thanks. Well, lots of things could explain this. Shipping new equipment from the factory to a military installation.... a battalion moving somewhere for reasons known only to them.... war games .... surplus equipment being moved to ship to foreign allies.... or actual combat expected somewhere. I grew up in a rural east Tennessee town and the railroad that went through the town often had long trains of these tank and truck shipments. So it's not new, I guess we just don't seen them this much anymore. But there are quite a number of reasons this could be happening.
I can definitely see it being any of those options. I normally see trucks carrying this equipment on the highways, but I’ve never seen this many on a train. It was very cool to see.
Interstate 380 in PA? There's an Army Depot in Tobyhanna...
No, TX.
Long talk about tanks at the rally...
Too bad this wasn't what the train that pulled up behind the rally platform looked like, that would have been impressive.
This train was carrying over a mile long of them. Never seen that many bring hauled on a train.
I have
Any nukes?
Biden said it would take F15's AND nukes.
No nukes seen?.
I guess XiDan has nothing to fear then.
The suitcases could be in the tanks. (?) Rhetorical.
No tanks, Abrams, but Bradley AFV
This is only the small portion my phone camera was able to capture.
I was told there would be F-15s and nukes....
Why are there no F-15s and nukes???
Possibly the First Cav headed to Ft Irwin for training against the OPFOR.
That is what I would guess. I assume that The National Training Center at Ft. Irwin still has a summer and winter rotation. Been a long time since I went.
By 'OPFOR' do you mean 'American citizens'?
Various units in the Military serve as ‘OPFOR’ at the various training Military installations and training areas in the U.S.
OPFOR is short for opposing forces is a military unit tasked with representing an enemy, usually for training purposes in war game scenarios.
Well, I said ?to Amazon Prime Day… but I still maybe went a little nuts with the credit card last week. ?
So, think these will all fit on a half acre??
Drove by National Guard convoy today. See them all the time but this time they were driving vehicles I couldn't identify and their gun turrets were manned. Never have I seen that in rural WI.
Our local National Guard armory deployed a week ago and hasn't been back. Maybe they're having their summer camp, maybe they're looking for trouble...
It's National Guard annual training season. Any unit with heavy weapons is required to do Gunnery Qualification yearly. There are limited places to do gunnery around the country.
I have personally done M2 .50 cal, TOW missile, and MK-19 gunnery in Idaho, Colorado, and Washington.
If you write down the bumper number people can give you better info.
Here are a few other pics I took:

Can't see any bumper numbers. They'd be something like this 1-CAV E 1/62 C-23
Edit for translation: 1st Cavalry Division, Echo Troop 1/62 Cavalry, vehicle # C-23
Wish I could’ve gotten better pics. Need to tell my hubby to drive slower next time.?
Direction?
Heading west.
Parents just saw the same thing happening in Alabama.
Interesting.
Sorry, gang! I shoulda said something. I thought everybody knew. These machines are on the way to the big yard-sale that Biteone talked about. Probably LOTS of planes, ships and nukes available after the sale gets opened up...
Anybody wanna go in with me on buying a carrier group? (they're goin' fast...)
didn't trump mention the importance of tanks recently? surprised that no one else raised this connection, or maybe it's so obvious none thought to ?
also reminds me of his desire to have tanks for 4th of July couple years back

Sorry, that's my fault! I ordered in bulk, got a killer deal!
I saw a video of this on a railroad outside L.A. on VOAT about 3 years ago.
I did not attempt to place an order...like....ever before....
If this is legit, maybe you could share where spotted, what rail line they're on, and direction they were heading. Otherwise just usual BS. This actually looks like a mirror image of something that was recently posted.
Really?? Did you read above?
