Or they will begin allowing alternatives to the traditional run like shuttle runs, or walks. To some extent I get it. Many of the computer savvy people would not fit the stancards for frontline fighting personnel, but the needs are shifting from physical to cyber soldiers.
I would have to look over the regs again, but the old test I would have to do 50 push-ups and 50 sit-ups in under a minute to max out that part of the test. They have also done away with the waist measurement as a component of the score. That 19.5 minutes is for the old guys not the young ones. :)

The pressure to vaccinate, especially as a careerist officer, is subtle, but intense. I was in a meeting yesterday and the only people still wearing masks (aka unvaccinated) were two pregnant women and myself. I did get the first shot on Wednesday, but I'm operating on the belief that patriots are in control. I received my shot from a medic on a military base, and I firmly believe that patriots wouldn't allow our military to be compromised by the vax. I didn't want the vax, but I've also spent my entire adult life working toward my military career and I have a lot to lose if I refuse the vax if things become mandatory. I'm counting on this vax craziness to quickly dissipate once the Great Awakening begins.
