Ok that’s getting kinda crazy. I mean to me only God can cause earthquakes, and this Q delta is only 1 day off of 3 yrs ago. I mean, I almost don’t know to think of this. Not scared. Actually more excited. But I feel that being excited about destruction is wrong, so idk. Interesting.
God does not cause earthquakes, per se. Our earth is badly scarred from the sinful state of humanity.....we also expect to see more earthquakes the closer we get to Jesus' second coming. The one behind EVERY single bad thing that occurs is the father of all lies / evil. God allows some hurtful things to happen and I am fully convinced that because He is above all, knows all, things do not randomly occur. Somehow, somewhere, it is part of His plan and I trust that. The book of Job is a good example of this.
Having said that, at some point the earth and its inhabitants will definitely see and feel God's wrath as they did during Noah's time. God did bring that flood and I have no doubt that other direct actions will be taken by Him. I just don't think that particular time is here, yet.

I plotted up a graph of global earthquakes each year, since the worldwide seismic network was installed in the 50's (for nuclear testing documentation, but worked pretty well for regular earthquakes :) ) a few years ago. I used magnitude 2.5 as the minimum, since that is about what humans would feel, and the numbers of lower magnitude earthquakes is so high that it would mask any significant trend. There was a general increase over time, with a big increase in the most recent 10-yr period. I felt that it was pretty good evidence of the increase in earthquakes prophesied in the Bible during the end times. I'll try to find it and post here. When I checked back with USGS a couple years later, they changed how they listed earthquakes, resulting in the trend over time not so obvious (almost like they are trying to hide what is happening in the world :) ).
I would have to disagree with you on the end times scenario... Only because before the beginning of Revelation, a certain criteria has to be met... Starting with the Gospel being shared to everyone on the planet... That first point hasn't been met as of yet... Personally I believe that we are in the times of the book of Isaiah chapter 9 or 10 if I recall correctly... Living in an earthquake and tsunami zone, I use ‘quakefeed’ too and enjoy following Dutchsince. Large earthquakes in odd places for sure.
