Every computer I have is a potato, and I can usually find a distro that runs well enough to do most tasks, including running an mspaint clone called kolourpaint.

No it's when I click on your link above for imgur (https://imgur.com/a/WQk78WZ) it goes to the page but the screen is just like a dark blue plank page. I tried turning off the pop up blocker is turned off nothing changes. It's funny because I can get that page & I have an account from my ipad but can't get on that page on my computer on Bing. But decided to try copy & pasting onto google search and it came up. I've noticed more and more sites I can't get to function properly from Bing, but they work fine on google.

For mobile-only memesmithing, if you are a Samsung user, I recommend the great combination of the apps ZomboDroid Meme Generator (TONS of meme templates and you can create memes from your own pictures/images) and Pixlr picture editor (to overlay cutout sniffing biden/heads/faces/logos/whatever). I meme with my thumbs.

What setting did you change? I turned off shields for Brave and it still isn't giving me the pop-up.
Never mind, I got it.
There was an extra image on the right hand side of the url box, when I clicked it had a toggle on or off for pop-up
