Millennial here, who watched the second plane hit on tv at school...from experience, that trauma turns into a righteous anger once you figure out it was all a lie. I have 9/11 and the ensuing days and weeks of news coverage burned into my mind. Knowing now that it was our own government who were complicit in the outright murder of my fellow Americans has filled me with a “great and terrible resolve.” I’m not allowing them to own that part of my story.
