I sat my kid down when she said "I hate Donald Trump". (8 year old, her mom my ex is a total liberal). Instead of telling her what to think I showed her bidens gaff ridden speeches, a highlight reel of him sniffing little kids. Then I showed her the highlights of Trump speeches and she changed her mind. Kids are smart and have great bullshit detectors.

I told her the most important thing I can teach her is to never let someone influence how you think. Never trust the media and to even question if what you learn in school is the truth. Most things in life are a lie. Seek out knowledge everywhere you can and try to figure things out for yourself. That was almost a year ago and before I give my opinion on things I ask her what she thinks now. She thinks Covid makes no sense. She thinks politicians are evil. I dont think she understands the gravity of what the world is going through but I am really happy that she has started to break away from the heard. She loves Trump and now her mom hates me even more 😂

I feel like I was brainwashed my whole life. My own intellect and to a degree I suppose arrogance was blinding me. 9/11 really red pilled me abd I think the most important thing I can teach my kid or anyone is to never believe media. Social or mainstream. I really think this next generation can be the first to not grow up under the brainwashing so many previous ones have endured. I sure hope so at least.

So what exactly has she heard?

Another thing to add when you talk to your kids,

"Even question what you hear from me, and challenge ME. If you disagree, please provide me with your research and lets talk about it. If you have valid sources and a logical argument, you may change MY mind."

Both out daughters know that they can challenge me any time they want. But they better be able to back it up.

I didn't state that but that was definitely said.. she uses it against me jokingly sometimes but I absolutely told her to question me. I felt it hypocritical to say question everything except me, especially since I grew up brainwashed by MSM I expect my kid to be able to teach me some things when she is a little older and interested in world affairs. Great point though

Kids have access to the world of everything on the internet.

Politics get discussed on the playground. In 4th grade my son would come home asking about Trump because some Commiefornia kids were calling Trump a Cheeto.

My 14 year old daughter is pretty fucking based. Yes, she hears all our conversations but we ask her about school and politics. She has a lot to say with her own thoughts and opinions. Not all of them are even things we’ve discussed.

Both my kids, 14 and 12, know Joe is a pedo. We asked them how they know this. Their reply? YouTube and discord.

With how polarized our country is right now, there is no way it’s not going to seep into every aspect of our lives.

Interesting post. At a family picnic today and a 12 yo nephew was sitting next to me looking at a bat hanging on some rafters of an outdoor shelter when he asked “do you believe that Covid came from bats?” and before I could answer my 10 yo grandson said “nope it’s a genetically modified flu”. These youngsters are surfing the internet and finding what they know to be the truth. Digital soldiers we need to be frens.

Reminds me of the time when my 12 yo told me Tik Tok was Chinese spyware. I knew it, but hearing my son tell his liberal grandmother made my day. It’s the little things.😉

Actually I remember talking a lot about Bush/Kerry in 2004 when I was in 4th grade. Bunch of kids wore Bush or Kerry gear to school, we had a whole session where kids were allowed to talk about why they like the candidate they're choosing to support via merchandise (for the kids wearing the shirts/hats/etc).

ALL THAT BEING SAID: Yeah, this does feel like bullshit. Just seems like a way to get other people to comment what their kids think, to get the conversation started.

I remember years ago, my kid got after a after school detention slip for ending some political discussion with a teacher by calling out the teacher as a Democrat.

They never showed up for the detention and nothing happened.

I just remember laughing and saying, well looks like you hit a nerve. And noting how the slip was written - so emotional and silly.

They do, they start off parroting their parents or people they're around opinions ... they are sponges soaking up every conversation around them without even knowing it.

It's crazy to me to hear a kid call another kid "Boomer" ... they're not understanding exactly what it means, but it's derogatory and fits their need in the moment.

lol. Where do they get that from?

So I started teaching high school this year after 15 years in healthcare, and these poor kids are DUMB! They dont know anything! They have very poor critical thinking skills, they have poor problem solving skills, they have no knowledge of current events of history unless it was packaged and delivered to them through social media. They didnt even know who Bruce Willis was FFS! Unlike the liberal dipshit teachers who rant and try to brainwash, i challenge the rote programmed ideas they have, to make them think. I dont give my opinion, I dont say they are "wrong" I ask them why they think that they are right. To me thats what they need, encouragement to not just repeat but to question and challenge the ideas programmed into their minds by twitter, tic-toc, and snap chat. One thing that must come of all of this awakening is these kids need to be woken up or we are ALL screwed, because the cabal attack on our youth is working and we have a generation of easily influenced, america hating, droids.

Tell them you're in a TikTok Fortnite dance-off feud and you need their help to hashtag "dab" on the "haters."

That should check enough boxes to make you the hip teacher that everyone likes and listens to.

I wonder how many IQ points they lost from wearing a mask an entire year.

Not sure it's that big a deal for High School kids to not know who Bruce Willis is though, the guy's 66, he stopped being relevant years ago.

My eight year old begged to participate in the Trump Train, he carved a Trump pumpkin last fall with stringy guts for hair. He listens to his speeches (a lot might go over his head, idk) but he asked for a flagpole out front so we could fly an American flag. I’m calling bullshit you even know any kids 😉

It depends on the parents and how they engage their children. Start early, make sure they know if you dont keep tabs on your goverment they will rob you blind and steal your freedom. In the past we have been conditioned to avoid politics, that needs to end now.

My daughter is 10 now, but at the time of the election was 9. When we found out the results of the '20 elections, she knew right away that it was bunk. And she went on to redpill her teachers at school over it. And kept redpilling them about the lockdowns, mask mandates, etc.

Now she's begging me to homeschool her because she refuses to be masked again. She suffered headaches, tiredness, and 5 sinus infections from last school year's masks mandates.

She went with her older brother and I to try VCSB (Volusia County, FL) meeting last week to protest and hopefully speak at the meeting against the mask. She was so disappointed she couldn't sepak, it almost brought her to tears. They had only chosen 40 speakers, bit it didn't matter. [their] minds were made up.

She's about the most redpilled kid at her school. And they're losing her because now she'll be homeschooled in a program that NOT connected to VCSB. [their] loss is her gain.

My 13 year old is extremely gifted in Math… tested out of HS math when she was younger.

We talked about how it was statistically impossible for biden to win and she investigated it on her own for several days… I had to help her find some of the numbers she wanted. She will still tell anyone who asks all the reasons that there’s no way he won.

Most of it is stuff that she read and then verified on her own but she’ll gladly explain it to people and explain where the numbers came from.

It’s more numbers than politics for her though.

My youngest just loves Trump, she thinks he’s hilarious. And she will call biden “sniffer in chief” but just because that’s what I called him once and it stuck with her. 😂

I had an experience like this the other day.

There were three young teenage girls walking past our house on the other side of the road as I was messing around in the back of my estate car (station wagon). They were noisy and they were heckling me: "We are too young for the vaccine, the vaccine is stupid!" They waited for my reaction so I just closed my bootlid which has "Don't trust the vac" written on it with a little graphic of a sheep with a hypodermic in it's ass. One of them then said "We love you!" and they went on their way.

I was really pleased with this and it gives me great hope that the kids are paying attention, but are these girls scared that they will be forced to take an unsafe vax in the future? They could be feeling really powerless.

Haha my son came home from school and told me that he told his teacher Biden stole the election. He is 9 and also in 4th grade.

Everyone worries about these youngins but we got a generation of Forniters that love a shooting game where you fish for food to heal, build forts, and shoot to the death to survive. They also get exposed to a lot early which can be bad because of all their favorite YouTube personalities but can also be incredibly good When they hear us listen to self improvement, Trump speeches, poetry, books, etc...
