It’s hard to watch their bullshit when you realize that the entire world is an illusion meant to distract you from the real problems while these sick assholes try to enslave us.
You can't watch anything once you have fallen down the rabbit hole. Don't hate me, but Legally Blonde was on so I started to watch just because I have heard the title for so many years and never saw. First thing I noticed was a transvestite in the restaurant scene at the beginning. Normalizing this has been a campaign for way longer than we ever realized. There was something else I noticed very symbolism related but I can't now remember what it was. Might have been butterflies.
Big Bang Theory also normalized the idea that hopelessly nerdy guys waste money on $50 T-shirts from Urban Outfitters and end up sleeping with different chicks on a regular basis. That dumb show tried horribly to cash in on the popularity of geek culture while completely failing to capture its real essence.
"Friends" introduced us to Chandler's tranny dad waaaaaaay back in the 90s. "Tootsie" was thrown in our faces in the 80s. "Some Like It Hot" in the 50s.
Agreed. But this was just a person sitting at the next table. There wasn't supposed to be anything funny or outrageous about it. Just supposed to be a "normal" person.
I hear ya. My point being that (((they))) started it long, long ago (see Weimar Germany for reference) so that by the time a movie like Legally Blonde came out it's considered "normal". Desensitization to degeneracy.
me too. I see it all the time now. Me and my daughter watch movies together often. We were watching an old movie today... Pillow Talk with Doris Day and Rock Hudson.
I noticed the black and white checkerboard patterned floor. They also had several scenes where Rock Hudson walks into the obstetrician & confusion takes place and they think he's saying he's pregnant. The doctor berates the nurse several times for not believing that a man can get pregnant.
My wife loves Asian shows. I'm aware that Rakuten may be an evil company but they do have a lot of good Asian shows, especially Running Man. She have a premiere subscription on Viki so I'd recommend you give it a try. It's free but with commercials so that's why we have the subscription so we can bypass the commercials as well as watch shows that came out on the same day, rather than waiting a week or so to watch it.
I know spending $$ is often frown upon, but hey at least we're paying for actual content, than shitty garbage we see on America's Primetime as well as on Netflix and Hulu.
Have you seen some of the K horror stuff? They got some really good stuff. And no feminist soap opera speeches. Even better the characters actually do smart things unlike Walking Dead TV trash.
Modern tv is nothing but propaganda and I don't relate to any of it nor do I find it distracting or entertaining in any way at all. For20 years all I watched is old 90's shows that were actually good. However, I can't even watch those anymore because the actors are douche bags who don't keep their mouths shut telling us all what to do, and they have destroyed any ability for me to watch any characters they played in shows that actually were well wriiten back in the day.
Yeah, been that way for me for about 10 years now. You can see the programming and manipulation written into so much of it, that it's hard to suspend belief.
It was so fucking cringe. It's like, they're acting OK, then they get to a politicized part and it's like they forgot how to act, sounds like Joe Biden trying to read a teleprompter.
Yup and every top detective or captain is a black woman, every evil character is a white male, every commercial is a black family, every historical piece has black characters in portions theybwould have never held. I can't watch anything anymore, I just stick to Cleetus McFarland and Good Good on youtube. If you want a real brain fuck, check out The Thunderbolts Project on youtube.
I stopped watching movies like a couple of years ago and T.V. shows like 10 or so years ago because I felt it was getting too repetitive and not only that, it's more of CGI than the story. I didn't pay $$ to watch fancy CGI, while ignoring the story.
But there's another reason why I stopped is because I'm tired of them shoving their virtue signaling down my throat and I get extremely queasy when I see them doing SJW shit. I recently picked a movie that looked good but saw that it was made in 2020 or so. Watched the first 10 minutes and wow SJW galore everywhere. Immediately stopped the movie and just went on to something else.
So I've made a rule of thumb -- if it was made in 2016 and later, avoid it at all costs!
Even without the Great Wokening of Hollywood, I'm just overall less less interested in entertainment media than I used to be. I used to automatically be like, "Hey what do you wanna watch?" Now watching a TV show feels like something that requires effort. Fun once it's in progress, but more difficult to start than it used to be.
Even here in Japan where the lockdowns are more like mild suggestions, I've also just forgotten to go to some movies I'd fully intended to see. Just never got around to it.
I used to watch Law and Order re-runs but haven't watched TV since March. I am tempted to watch old Midsomer Murders re-runs. I do not enjoy modern programming.
Even before Out of Shadows, I gave up on TV well over a decade ago. My sister and coworkers kept bugging me to get into the show Lost beucase "omg it's like so fascinating, for reals" only for eventually every single one of them to say, "Fuck Lost, that show was garbage. I cannot believe I wasted my time with that dumb show." The same thing with Game of Thrones. So when anyone tells me something like, "Ohmygosh, you have just GOTTA watch "Assisted Living Dracula." It's like the best show ever, and it starts getting really good after the 5th season," I just politely refuse.
Because all Leftists writers do well is making good hooks. Endings take more thinking than they're capable of. The whole "pull it all together in a logical way at the end" is too much for them.
A good intro can be "A girl is running through the forest when suddenly dark figures surround her her, but suddenly light erupts from her and they all die. Then the title screen appears and we flash forward to three years before."
People are intrigued. Who is the girl? Why does she have powers? Who were the figures? We want to know.
But most H-wood shows will be go three seasons in and still never explain what the hell the intro was about. It just gets "forgotten". I hate hooks that lead nowhere. It's like the writers knew their show was boring af so they wrote a mystery that they never planned to solve, but it got you watching.

Watch films and shows searching for Comms.

Same here I just turned 50 and don’t know what’s real anymore. However I do know who’s lying to me.
Had to sign in just to say thanks for making me laugh with sympathy.
^^^ THIS X 100 ^^^
Stopped watching that crap years ago

Once you see you can't unsee!!
Here's a few issues I've run into with modern movies and TV:
After all of that, what's left is content produced a long time ago and modern Christian films.
Yeah, been that way for me for about 10 years now. You can see the programming and manipulation written into so much of it, that it's hard to suspend belief.
Watch “Peaky Blinders” Lol its awesome
It seems someone does, in fact, like splatter
I switched to old black and whites from the ‘30s.
Where all the men are strong, all the women are good looking, and all the children are above average
Try Pluto. I think they have a Western channel. 24/7 of western movies and such. Best of all? It's free! But of course it has commercials so...
UNIVERSAL SPOILER: white dude and/or christian is the villian. Female lead will have lesbian sex scene.
Could not agree more.
Welcome to the club, fren. You start walking down the road, or into the rabbit hole, some of us are further ahead.
The further ahead on this path, those in the rear view call us conspiracy theorists.
Holy Fuck, yes! I was just watching FBI: Most Wanted and they squeezed everything in they could about the fake "Insurrection"
It was so fucking cringe. It's like, they're acting OK, then they get to a politicized part and it's like they forgot how to act, sounds like Joe Biden trying to read a teleprompter.
Check it out for yourself. https://thepiratebay.org/description.php?id=52652123
Break your TV.
I have the attention span of a housefly.

Try Psych. It is funny and takes your mind off everything. It is a silly show. I tried it from the suggestion of Santa Surfing.

Dude I love Lost
A good series was “The Man in the High Castle”. Interestingly negative48 was talking about how the Nazis lived on and infiltrated. Worth a watch.🤷🏼♀️
I try to find movies that are similar to the world we currently live in. The matrix is an obvious one but also check out The Lorax
Agree 100% I have been awake for a good while but these last 2 years have really done it for me
Everything is fake, an illusion and once you see it it's over
